Block reward is small, only 50 WikiCoins/block. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

in order to make this compile I had to chmod +x the build_detect file in leveldb, then run make-f makefile.unix in src, then qmake & make. End result is a frozen-qt file :-)
edit: dev you can fix that the wikicoin-qt.pro file, edit TARGET = frozen-qt to TARGET = wikicoin-qt
edit: there may be more wrong, the wallet opens with wikicoin logo but shows 6k + blocks already and doesn't want to sync. Think your source on github may be old?

edit: I was fully synced, now a fork appears, 40 hours ago already 3300 blocks wtf.

What does orphan mean?
Your coin didn't like you so it was given to other parents. Someone mined the block before you could confirm it. |

What does orphan mean?
Your coin didn't like you so it was given to other parents. Someone mined the block before you could confirm it. it is possible that a coin became orphaned after 10 min? |

Someone found the block just before you. Don't worry though! There are lots of blocks available and the difficulty is low! |

Probably the devs premining were not connected to each other and now the forks kick in.  |
