During the second day of the Miami BTC conference, several miners gathered at the bar and we ended up sitting there all day and talking shop. We ended up with about 30 miners gathered for several hours. After the event, we started a telegram group and started inviting other miners. We talked about our desire to educate the public on how we plan to change the world in terms of green energy, our desires to educate fellow miners on business operations, our desires to educate future miners with education outreach programs, our desires to get more women and minorities into this crypto revolution, and the need to prepare for future lobbying.
On April 23rd, 2018 we hard our first “official” board meeting. We had 22 miners show up that wanted to participate of the board of our “association,” 16 members were elected. We voted on a name and created our board. We have board members from all over the USA, Canada, and South America. We named the association Blockchain & Crypto Mining Association and our mission statement is “Supporting blockchain mining through education, awareness, and representation.”
Right now we have approximately 300 unofficial members and once we file our non-profit, we hope to make them “official.” We are growing at a rate of 20 members per week since the board meeting. We are very excited about this association as we truly believe that mining is the backbone of the blockchain world and miners will be around as long as Bitcoin is around.

The purpose of the sub-section is to have a place for the association, just openly asking to see if this is possible, thank you.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This forum probably won't let you do it here but you could make your own forum.

This forum's code is based on simple machines code, here

If you rent server space (as a vps) or get your own since you mine then you can make your own forum and call it whatever you want for your community. You could make it pay for itself by asking for donations or putting up adverts that go back into the funding and maintenance of the website.

Only admin's can create new sub boards but I very much doubt they would for this. As jackg said, you're probably just best creating your very own website and forum if you're wanting some place to congregate or discuss things. I don't know how reddit works in creating new subs but you could try there.
