I think it's a trustworthy exchange. The developpers give updates through twitter almost daily so there's transparency, it's been online since a long time, there's a high volume and many coins available, and cryptsypoints are nice. And they plan on adding a btc/usd exchange. And the support team is really helpful, I never had an unsolved problem with them.

They don't call it craptsy for nothing lol. It's alright, a bit slow, but a good way to get rid of your altcoins.

Sometimes, less and less often, it's slow but I think that's the only complaint we can fairly give them. If you're patient there's no problem with cryptsy.

Cryptsy is all so nice  good looking, great GUI and so practical. you can easily find whatever you want. But biggest flaw is that cryptsy is so so so slow. i hate that. when you need t cancel transaction it hard like hell to do it. don't know why is that so but big traders loose lot of money like that. price can change for 10-15 satoshi per coin and i still do my cancellation trades

Have a good support/ticket system, also laggy from time to time, but always respond.

Things I like about cryptsy:

I like that they have so many different types of coins, Like a super shared coin wallet.
I like that they have lost of open markets.
I like the look.
I like the new balance update for BTC.

What I don't like about them:

Lots of accounts get hacked. When my account got hacked I tired everything I could think of to get help, support replied days later with a copy and past about delayed deposits and they didn't even read or respond to my problem.
Deposit takes longer then you think.
Bought 3000 cat coins. can see it in past trades balance still says 0.
They steal everyone's proof of stake mining.
From time to time you end up with a negative balance after a trade.
They will remove a coin then never give update as to when it is coming back.
They allow bots to pin pong trade to level market and it takes away trading opportunities for live traders.
