It took over a month since the Admin said "2FA and photos of our data center tomorrow".....

Well I was out two weeks ago because I felt this service could disappear at any moment. Good luck.

You left during the BETA?  Hrmmm  Shocked

Should hang out in chat more, maybe.
Seems these guys at Scrypt.cc?ref=baagt care more about security than getting a site online and services in place.  What's the point of 2fa and an API if they or other parts of the system have security issues?

Lots of BTC and Scrypt related services/sites are getting a lot of DDOS attacks lately... they've been dealing with this for a while now instead of working on making our investments secure.  Things seem to be running smoothly.

I also applied for a job with them last week and just found out I start Monday at 4hrs a day.  Launch is slated for Monday but the last 2 days of ddos has again set them back a bit.  I hope it goes off Monday like clockwork. Smiley

Anyone else care to bail before the KHS price goes up a bit? Smiley

Ran into a confusion, figured I'd mention it here.

REFERRALS
Using a referral link does NOT take any 'extra' mining rewards from your account to pay the person who referred you. The referral comes out of the maintenance fee and that fee is the same for all types of accounts.  I guess Scrypt.CC?ref=baagt just keeps the 5%... I know I would. Smiley

I have extremely limited sources of income where I'm at (as do a bunch of other folks on the net) so if you're going to sign up, please use someone's referral link that brought the site to your attention.  Thank you!  It's really cheap advertising when you think about it.

Wasn't in chat when the maint fee was asked of Admin, anyone there at that time that can chime in with what the answer to that is? Thanks!

2FA Testing has begun! Shocked
I'm loving the reactions people are having on scrypt.cc?ref=baagt, especially the ones I've introduced to the idea.  Remember to check out http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#scrypt.cc if you have any questions.  It's an informal irc chat channel that Lombriz set up. Smiley
(the ddos attacks have been taken care of and are no longer an issue for the operation of the site.  The chat box does repeat posts during ddos attackes and is a bit annoying.  The irc chat is more stable.)

Admin came on today and announced that they're moving forward with some bug fixes and feature implementations before the new site face is rolled out.

The 1 Satoshi bug is GONE!  (been waiting for that one)  Click on the top sell order and then your Total BTC and hit Place Order.  No more "Insufficient BTC" errors. Smiley

It's getting warmer and their about to turn the gas up full!  Cool  See you there!!!

Yes, this is actually like my point here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514215.msg5737722#msg5737722

Important is making the site work properly and is secure for the customers!

Edit: TheCleanGame is also doing a good job for scrypt.cc. You become the voice for them. It's good that you keep us in the loop of what is going on. Things that was missing at mtgox.

please tell me what is the GHS/BTC rate?

Well, this is calculated differently, as its based on a different algorithm compared to BTC. So, its in KHS. The site I linked to has a calculator, but keep in mind that you can buy and sell your khs, so the days shown there is if you do not sell straight away. Basically, the calculator shows if you invest and don't do anything else.

It is back up to .00155 BTC / KHS.   It was slightly lower than that for the last couple of days.   The initial price was .00144444 BTC / KHS.

The break even time of aprox 200 days DOES NOT take into account the great increase in difficulty that will soon happen due to the introduction of Srypt ASICS. So in 3-4 months from now you will only be able to get a fraction of the coins you are getting now.

Well, to a point.

1) Not every Scrypt coin can be mined by asics.  They're not the end all be all they are/were for bitcoin.  Any affect they have is going to be a lot slower path than the sha256 scene had.

2) Should asics become that useful... wouldn't you rather have a huge datacenter upgrading your 'miner' for you instead of trying to do it on your own?  Asics are already in testing...

3)  Those asics will not be pointed at every coin all at once so difficulty is going to vary a lot.  This is great because it changes the profitability of the coins and causes a lot of fluctuations in the market.  Making room for more profits.

4)  This is No-Contract Mining... meaning you can sell out if that's what you need to do.

5)  I'm LOVING it and so are my referrals!  Most of my referrals that have bought KHS have let it sit a few days to a week and then bought 20-90% more.  Sitting here wishing I had something to sell for btc... I can understand why. Smiley

Averaging .5% a DAY in Profit!   Even if you only have $100 to 'lose' in an investment (every investment is a risk. Period.  Anyone who tells you different is probably trying to rob you.)  Even if the profits go down in a few months that's still huge! Wink

Multi-Scrypt Mining has a much longer profit future estimated for it than anything else I've run across in the digicoin market.  Make your own decision. Smiley

Scrypt.CC?ref=baagt  Using the ref link won't change your profits, so please help out a guy in the mountains. Smiley  Thanks!  See you There!

What Scrypt-coin they mine over there? any info?
why you must buy KH/S with BTC not THE same coin that being mined ?
What pool this service use?
 Smiley
any one care to add any information ?
Sure Smiley

Coins Being Mined
Last I checked the Admin mentioned there were around 40+ coins in the system.  The software analyzes profitability on the coins every minute and will switch coins if necessary.  Up to 5 different scrypt coins can be mined at once... the software usually finds that 3 is the most profitable combination lately.

BTC for KHS and Not Specific Scrypt Coins
Currently Scrypt.CC?ref=baagt is only set up to exchange scrypt coins on other exchanges.  All transactions on site are done in Btc.  There are future plans for an exchange on the site but Admin has stated that site functionality is more important than added features at the moment.

Pool Being Used
The company owns 3 data centers, one of which is the Scrypt.cc operation.  They all use the same in house pool software and mine each coin directly on the coin's network.  The whole operation is pointed at these coins so that they have the greatest amount of hashing power at any given time. Smiley

Accounts are free Smiley  Sign up Scrypt.CC?ref=baagt and come check out the fun. Smiley   we've all been playing poker over at bcpoker.eu as well. lol Having a blast. Smiley  See you there!

It has been a veeeery long day.  Night Folks! Cheesy

I'm invested to the tune of ~ 700 KHS but I am still skeptical of the whole operation.

Call it me doing my due diligence and here are some questions that are running through my mind:

Who are these people? An open and transparent company would provide a public face
How can we be sure it is not all a ruse where the data is being faked by a script and a Ponzi is being played out?

We hear that there is a 'ghost' miner pumping out 200 mhs each on 3 coins simultaneously but where is the proof that this is true and it is 'them'?

What sort of oversight/auditing by a third party is in place to verify all claims by the site spokesman?

We have had pseudo promises made and not kept with such things as pics of data center, being able to choose which coins to mine, mine with own rig, and new front end; yet none delivered.

I am hoping that it is legit but too many red flags say otherwise at this stage.

As an investor I am entitled to ask these questions. I will not go RAH RAH RAH like others in this thread and be a cheer leader for this service until it can prove itself. Only a fool would throw big cash at this right now.

This forum has a lot of established credible people in it. It would be ideal if a team of them could verify this entire operation. I for one would chip in some btc to help finance their trip.

Referral link at bottom if you are so inclined but I do not endorse it at this stage.
