About

CorgiCoin is a Scrypt-based Proof of Work cryptocurrency. Originally launched in 2014 as a fork of Dogecoin (itself from Litecoin/Bitcoin), CorgiCoin is back in 2026 with a fully modernized codebase and a vision to bridge PoW mining with the Solana memecoin ecosystem through a proof-of-burn token bridge and partner program.

Version 4.0.0.0 represents a complete relaunch with:

C++17 codebase (modernized from C++03)
OpenSSL 3.x support (1.0.x dropped)
Protocol version 70001 (incompatible with legacy 1.x nodes)

Maybe it would be nice to publish the technical info too .... like saying that the coin is Scrypt, it has 1 minute blocks, 240 blocks for diff retarget and the block rewards are same as those of DOGEcoin.

Same as DOGE, so for now it is random (1-1M coins per block), halving every 100k blocks, with 10K fixed after block 600k

Otherwise it is scrypt, 1 minute block, 240 blocks retarget
