Do you have connections?

If you don't have connections it wont sync.

You might need to manually add the nodes from here: http://popularcoin.com:3751/network
Just let me know if you have any questions about adding the nodes manually


When you have connections it could take up to a day to fully sync a wallet.

I think there are some people updating new wallets right now and because I have 4 servers that I updated for seed nodes and am trying to sync them, they are taking a good amount of time to sync, so sorry if its taking a while now but when these 4 new seed nodes are completely synced and up it should go a lot faster.

Not sure im in the right section, how long it takes for the pop app to sync?

I followed the directions to addnode xx.xx.xx.xx add however i still dont get any connection, not sure if i need to restart the wallet or leave it open after adding the nodes.

Just add the nodes and then wait for the wallet to sync, do not close it.

You may need to allow the PopularCoin App through your firewall.

What OS are you using?

No matter what you do, DO NOT DELETE Your Wallet or the Wallet.dat file!

In Fact you should go ahead and save your wallet.dat file right away. Open the wallet and under "File" select "Backup Wallet". That will generate a wallet.dat file and you can save that so you for sure dont loose your POP!

Im running high sierra, I wonder if i can download pop wallet into my windows pc which stays on all the time and use the backup file i just save? cause the mac shuts off after a while.

I also keep getting these messages under the debug.log

That had nothing to do with the pool, http://coincave.nl is maybe small but pretty professional and very well supported. Sometimes coins get stuck, 51% attacks, coin manipulation attempts, withholding results etc..

Those are normal from the debug log, they are just source node ips that disconnected with the network for x hours.

Is your wallet having a hard time syncing or what?

If you have connections then it will sync!!

I have been personally reaching out to exchanges and even asked the dev cryptojette to reach out to exchanges.

We really need to work better as a community in order to workout things like getting on Bittrex! One thing you can do is make at least one post here in the POP btctalk thread per day.

Also, Other Exchanges would be great as well. Currently we really only have Cryptopia because NovaEX is closing. So if anyone has leads on an exchange, please let us know. There really are a lot of POP users out there and people get hyped about POP when it is doing good.

The reality is that POP has always been great at winning voting to get on exchanges when we focus on it. We got on Allcrypt, MintPal, and Cryptsy from voting but unfortunately those exchanges went down.

So we just need to work at it as a community.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw the video

Doing my research and learning more about the coin and movement. 
I'm glad the DEV is still here and hope he is as passionate as ever.
I have read about the new partnership coming soon on this platform and believe it will boost this coin.
