To avoid getting scammed just don't expose your private jey and you'll be totally fine. The blockchain system can be compromised, but would take an immense amount of hardware resources, to break one block, then repeat for the others.

It is impossible and will be for some time. Once quantum computers have stabilized, perhaps that will change.

But for now you need to look into the user ends of blockchain. That is where the vulnerability lies. And not within the system itself. Private keys are to be kept very secure, if not offline

Knowledge, coin knowledge, market knowledge, financial knowledge. Only knowledge can help you avoid being cheated. The first step to avoiding scams is that you can identify it, only you know it and then stay away from it to avoid scams.

Knowing the basic and completely understanding how things are working inside this field is really important, if you know how then you can avoid even a small form of scammers, you can actually sense if they are trying to harm you since you are well informed about how the market are moving around, make sure to have proper educations and good skills.

I have been a member of this forum for more than one and half years and unfortunately there is no 100% fail-proof method to avoid scams. But if you take the necessary precautions like avoiding projects from newbs and red-trust users, then you can protect yourself 90% of the times.
The most important thing is to use complex passwords, 2fa, and be careful. But it does not guarantee 100% safety.

Take advantage of free social media to learn about basic things first like how to handle your cryptocurrency wallets and how to keep its private key securely. Than learn about different different exchanges reviews and choose the exchange which you feel will be suitable for you. Also before investing in any cryptocurrency do your own research than and than only invest . Watch this vedio it's very helpful and gives idea about keypoints to be observed before investing in the project.

If you will use hardware wallet and if you will use promising exchanges like binance you can save your coins. You dont need to worry about hackers or scammers. You shouldnt send your coins to someone and you need to save your private keys safely.
If you will do these things nobody can not steal your coins from your accounts. Yes people can warn you because there are too many scammers.

Choose Popular exchanges and keep your funds secured both in exchanges and also your wallet. Dont just open up any exchanges that ask for private keys Be very careful with those I think Idex and Forkdeltha are safe The rest research on your own...Before obtaining any coin check to make sure its worth buying

For one to avoid being scammed, one should not be greedy.Sometimes ,people are scammed because they want get more profit without asking where the source of profit comes from. For example,Some ponzi companies usually  promise  50% return on investment per month without having a genuine source of income .
Sometimes, most people jump into crypto without getting in constant touch with the right people that will teach them how to avoid scammers. In telegram or any social media, stop private chatting scammy admins ,they have defrauded a lot of people .
One should save his private keys  offline ,and also ensure the site you are  visiting is not  phishing links .You should also read the wp

There are some simple steps of how to avoid scammers. First of all never reply PMs on telegram, because this would only lead to scam. Secondly always read the whitepapers and check the community on Telegram by every ICO.

There's no problem with those exchanges as long as you keep your private keys safe and confidential. Immediately remove your account logged in in the exchange sites like this because it will expose you to risk for your private keys, and you can't determine that you've been hacked or scammed. Don't easily have deals with strangers, always consider them potential scammers.

You can be scammed by phishing sites, this is why always check the URL. Or, the exchanges can be hackedas well
and your funds stolen. This is why on exchanges hold only the amount you are trading with.

By carefully reading the whole whitepaper of every invesment project in which you will ensure that their project is really exist like the prototype of their products, that there are the team names in which all are legit that can easily be search in the google then for sure chances of being scam victim will be reduce. Only reduced because their are scam projects like CENTRA that even their details really exist but still in the end they are a scam investment.

In my opinion the best way to avoid getting scammed is to keep learning about crypto and economic in general. You don't even understand what is trading so you have to learn it first before attempting to do it because that way you won't make basic mistake and actually know when people want to scam you. Most of the problem in crypto is that people don't bother to learn about how thing works.

the primary thing you have to do is doing your own research before sending money or investing somewhere because everything officially is stated and if you look on details you can avoid being scammed.

The best way to avoid scam is to master the system before taking any transaction. If you know how the system goes then you will also know where your transaction is going if it is tending to get money from you then it is one of the sign that it is a scam. then you must alert yourself more and be more careful processing your transaction detail by detail.

the point is that a SCAMMER can be seen from the scheme he is doing activities and also their background, if they are new students and have a goal to work on a large project, it is most likely SCAMMER, you will be able to distinguish scammers from developers who really only when you have a lot of experience in the crypto world, especially ICO
but for trading, make sure you choose the right exchanger, because the current favorite exchanger is a centralized exchange, where we don't know what they are doing to our money that has the potential for fraud

One of the smartest way to avoid being scammed in crypto is to study a lot about the project of interest. Perform a personal research on the project especially about the coherence in information found in the whitepaper, website and other social media outlets of the project. Also, research into the team, find out if the members are real by following the social media accounts they provide for each member of the team. These are some of the few checks to help avoid scam projects.
