A lot of bad news happened to the bitcoin and I think almost of that hapoened in the year 2018 which cause for the market to dump. Because media and social media is really influences and once they relase article or any news about crypto they affected the value because people can panic. But better for us to not listening of them if they said negative sides about bitcoin or altcoins just ignore them and continue what we do so we can convince people and encourage them to invest to crypto.

I couldn't care less. I know I shouldn't trust those mainstream media out there populating the minds of supposedly investors.

However, I see them as part of this grand scheme to make bitcoin really be adopted or crypto for that matter. And now JPM is on crypto's now recently created his JPM coin.A coin that's going to be backed up by his own establishment/bank.

I can't agree more, it's their way to dictate the people what they should do. While the price are too low, they take the advantage of telling the people to stay away from it or as much as possible they are discouraging it so they are the ones to acquire the cheapest coins.

Thank you for your advice but in this market that is how it do happen and those mainstream media are the one moving the market.  If we really desires to make some profit in future then we have to follow what the big players are doing to make profits.

The point about OP's media criticism is that, the media can not be excluded from the society and from the happenings around the globe. You take a media out, you kill information. This is to say that, there could be modicum of reality in certain things that are said in the media. Although, some big wings pay media experts to air their mind, intention and ambition but overall, they rumors still contribute to information.

This really is good advice but newbies never know what to do in the bearish market time. Hence they will be need to understand what giant who show that they are against the cryptosystems to the people

Truly. That is happening when the market went bearish. Most newbie got out of their calmness and started to starled and panic in the sudden downfall of the crypto market. People still need a lots of thing to learn and understand.

As should we. This article was made last year and look where we are now. Jp morgan already have their own jpm coins and there are circulating news of a facebook coin as well lol. It probably won't be long when warren buffet announces his own coin also.

The widespread usage of fiat currencies is a relatively new development in the history of the world, for most of the history of the world we have used currencies backed by something and if you were to ask the average person about this many will say to you that the dollar is backed by gold when that has not been the case since the 70s, this show us the wilful ignorance of the people in the subject and this is because they are not interested in informing themselves about it since everything seems to be OK.

But once this collapses they will begin to look for answers and you can be sure they are going to try to make the government to tax gold and bitcoin users because they will argue that somehow our profits should be shared with everyone even if we have been warning about that scenario for a long time.
