hmmm I'm not sure how this comparison even works.

I will head down to the bitcoin drive-thru and ask them for a supersized big mac and fries. Then I will head down to the McDonalds drive-thru and ask them for a supersized bitcoin and fries. See how pointless this comparison is now?  Grin

Guess you'll have to ask McDo to create this awesome Mc Bitcoin Menu?  Grin

Are you certain about some jurisdiction running indeed on your mind drive-thru, if my overstayed to this forum serves me right your the only one not frightened make this type of thread so to speak. and how does you compare two things that not generally have in comparison bitcoin is cryptocurruncy on the other hand, Mcdonald is a fast food industry chain, what makes you to come up with the conclusion are you certain about market capitalization total numbers of shared person with the stock of Mcdonald is two to ten person but as for bitcoin that was you and i thus everyone else bring to life the tactic of hodl.

A very large number of people invest in Bitcoin. I do not know if it can be compared. BTC is an asset and McDonalds is a company. Very long acting.

Are you indirectly trying to spread FUD. Are you indirectly trying to spread FUD or what? Besides, you shouldn't compare bitcoin with anyone. I am personally not looking at the  market cap but to what will one gain by making using of it or that the project is solving the main issue it was created for or was made. So OP, nobody is forcing to invest , it all depends on you.

Dude you've been posting a lot in the forum and most of it are negative about bitcoin. You've been a hater of bitcoin.  Undecided

Bitcoin is a baby in a big world!
That's it, still on it's early days so what are your expectations? with the short span of time it was able to get a large market cap which is totally amazing. A baby in this big world that has amazing growth.

Bitcoin is not as big as people think!
Don't include or use the term "people" as generalizing your own opinion.

Are you indirectly trying to spread FUD.
Read his post history and you'll get a clue.

What exactly does this has to do with bitcoin? Nice article OP but it's just so unfortunate to know  that it won't work that way you have stated it or viewed it because  emotions either good or bad  are part of human make up. No human being is born without emotions, infact, this is what makes us a living thing so we can't get rid if it totally but on the issue of trading emotions can be put in control by not acting on it.

Bitcoin is not as big as people think!

Bitcoin is barely 10 years. Please tell me how much macdonalds made in its 10th year. No need creating fud to sound relevent mate. And true btc faithfuls know very well that bitcoin is only at the beginning of its rise to power

We can't really compare something that was invented to work in the Internet with a company that existed long before anybody even thought about creating the Internet.

Exactly! This is apples and oranges. We could as well say that your local grocery store or a restaurant that makes your pizza is less valuable than Apple, Microsoft, or Amazon.

What exactly does this has to do with bitcoin?

Nothing. It's just a pointless comparison, although it can be viewed as something positive. BTC, which is a fairly new invention, has managed to compete with a fast food giant with restaurants in every part of the world. I'd call it a huge achievement.
How many of you have eaten a burger, or heard about McDonalds? And how many of you heard about Bitcoin, before you ate a burger? Think about it. If all people who ate at McDonalds owned a fraction of a Bitcoin, the market cap would be 100 times the size it is now.

That's something new. Do you know that the biggest wallets are owned by exchanges? Are they the whales? Or maybe you're talking about those who openly state that they're holding, like Winklevoss twins or Tim Draper. Are they controlling BTC? You're full of shit.

Bitcoin still has a long way to go and I know it will surely.accomplish it. It's just a matter of time especially when the big investors begin to adopt it. Institutional fud would help Bitcoin recognition more.

BTC only developed for 10 years, and McDonald's has been running for more than 70 years and has stores all over the world!
BTC is still very young and there is plenty of room for growth. BTC will be widely used around the world!

I understand the comparison with macdonalds what you want to say is that bitcoin is small but it is already distributed throughout the world and it is mediatic as macdonalds you see the lobotype and listen to it through all the social networks and it is hardly growing if its value is of This is 6900 dollars with less than 1% of the world capital as it will be when you reach 10% or more of the capital of the fiat money in the world you imagine where the bitcoin can go. It is always going to be spontaneous. Globally, there are millions of people who already They have and many who have already heard of the already going to make university career everything that covers is unimaginable

McDonald's is a McDonald's fast-food chain business that has 80 percent of its sales in just four countries - the United States, Germany, Britain and France. The comparison between bitcoin and McDonald's is not straightforward

You are right, we cannot compare between company of foods and digital assets as this really have a big difference. Anyway, still it will be nice to add it as new knowledge about market cap and it's good to know that bitcoin already have this big market cap.

Maybe that's a good example to make people understand how small this market is. We're nothing right now, nothing. The moment will start growing seriously well, just sit down, relax and get some pop corn to enjoy the show  Grin
