Satochi Nakamoto is said to hold an estimated 980,000 bitcoin. At today's price, that will be in the region of $5 trillion. That for sure is colossal. The market will rock if this volume is dumped into it. Besides, it will send dangerous signal which might compel other big investors to start dumping.

He is dead. He committed suicide.

It's crazy when you say that he committed suicide. I do not know who he is, but he can be someone, a group, an organization, and they are really talented. He brings a great technology to the world!

His name was Dave Kleiman.

Read his story. Its tragic.

What if Satoshi Nakamoto comes back and moves his all bitcoins onto a exchange and puts them up for sale?

Would that crash the whole market?

Satoshi could have done that easily and earned a lot , not by just selling his own holding but also by leaving a bug to create unlimited supply .
also last year december was a great period for selling btc , so it is almost impossible .
however if any person sell 1m bitcoin in market then for sure prices will crash badly and if it is none other than the developer then it may crash more dramatically bcoz people will not like any dev to sell all of his holding .

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes on what you are high brother !!
even total crypto market is not close to that figure , it is still less than $500 billion and bitcoin marketcap is less than $200 billion , and if we calculate price of 1m bitcoin of satoshi then it would be roughly $6-7 billion . it will surely affect the market bcoz when such dump happens whale tether everything to buy back in dips .

As if you really know him. No one really knows who he/she is and let's respect the privacy he/she wants.

Anyway, saying Satoshi holds million of btc. That would  really affect market and I'll just wait for the lowest price that I could expect. Sure I'll take that oppurtunity to buy and won't make myself regret for the second time.

Scary as it is when you see the main developer selling his own creation, it will bring chaos to the market. But I doubt that satoshi would do that, no one even know if he's still alive.  Undecided
Like what other news reports about the movement of big funds to an exchange, I haven't seen something happened until they were sold.

It would but remember that there are buyers willing to take Satoshi's coins. If Bitcoin went up without his coins, it would be able to do the same with his coins on the market. It would only take more time. Coins are disappearing because people are losing them so Satoshi's coins would in circulation would be a good thing in the long run.
There would be positive and negative effects with these scenarios which if Satoshi came out just to dump his coins lets say 1M btc then it would really impact the whole market but it doesnt mean that it would completely kill bitcoin on that manner. Price recovery most likely to happen but i do see or foresaw that if satoshi dump his coins already trust to bitcoin would really be decreased as an investor.

Scary as it is when you see the main developer selling his own creation, it will bring chaos to the market.
Satoshi isn't the main developer. It's not meant to disrespect him, but aside from his financial influence on this market due to his coins, he is a nobody now and will stay that for ever.

He isn't and won't ever be able to contribute to Bitcoin again. Even if someone proves to have access to the address containing the legacy block reward, there is no way to prove it is actually Satoshi.

In other words, even the real Satoshi can't prove that he is actually the real Satoshi. This is exactly what gives Bitcoin its power. There is no main developer. Satoshi did the right thing to leave early on.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I addressed him as main developer until now so it's fine for me to say that.  Smiley
I agree on what you've said about it that he has no power anymore as the main developer. Bitcoin has been created as an open source and there are people who are contributing to its upgrade and to make it better. And about the proving of his own as satoshi, we may not know who's the real satoshi and speculations will just come on who really satoshi is. Lately, I've seen an article that tells Gavin is satoshi. yes it could drop the entire (bitcoin-)market and cause a lasting echo that will keep bitcoin at a low price for the rest of its existance.

additionaly it is suspected that satoshi and the big bitcoin miners association are bitcoins secret centre (decentral currency with centre  Roll Eyes)

and they are the main drivers behind the marketing propaganda, and social media fake bots that apprach people and spam them with bitcoin investment adivsory, the bull calls and pump and dump schemes.

so doing that would remove a lot of bitcoins centre, and there will be much less bitcoin advertisement in the internet, ultimately leading even more to bitcoins end.

regards
