I'm thinking the Antminer S1 might still break even if I sell it again at the right time(late Feb-Mid March maybe?) and I'd like to try it out for the fun of it.
But where can I actually buy it at the moment? I see bitmaintech.com will start shipping Feb 8th - can they be trusted?
Anyone trustworthy shipping from the EU I can buy it from?
I ordered direct from Bitmain's website. It was absolutely fine for me. Payment through to delivery with UPS and full tracking number provided. Only took 7 days to arrive and that included a malfunction on the plane where it was delayed in Mumbai, India. If not for the delay it should have been around 5 days from order to receipt.
I'm pretty sure there are not resellers in the U.K. or E.U. I know there is one in Asia but it is dearer to buy from them.
Bitmain even gave us a 0.12BTC coupon off the next item purchased because of the delay and it wasn't even their fault, it was UPS's aircraft.
Can Bitmain be trusted? Well I'm ordering one shortly from them again.
