I personally had experiences with these kind of promotional bonuses that some online casinos give, and let me tell you something they are a total scam, i signed up in a couple of them and i did place some bets and i won but when i wanted to withdraw my winnings i couldn't even when i contacted the support they totally ignored me, and this happend to me with tow or three websites, i just think they just don't expect you to win so they give you like a few bucks.

My experience with them is claiming several of them and being able to cash out none because of the wager requirements placed on bonuses- if I happen to get a bonus I just gamble the minimum amount that allows me to cash out. If I win, great, if not, it's a bonus. Most sites offer faucets or play tokens which I usually use to test games out. unfortunately, my free cash bonus is not big so I cannot play games in many times. but I can get another free bonus by playing the faucet in the site so I can continue to play the games. I think OP is not talking about deposit bonuses as he says about something free without investment needed. So it should be something like No Deposit Bonus or Free spins bonus where players get it for 100% free without need to make deposit.

I had  nice experience with no deposit bonus few years ago as I could complete the requirements and cashed out my winning from the bonus. I always stay away from them, the rollover requirements are usually way to big.

It's just marketing strategy and all they want is just a traffic for their network so that their website rank rise. And most of it are actually a scam even if you win a small amount. Now, who would want to give a free $100 to everyone and yet if they win they will give it to you completely? None!
