Hi all, my account here is new but I've been using crypto since it was still possible to mine bitcoin using a graphics card lol...

I'm planning on taking over, rebranding and repurposing CHN.


About me : I'm 38, an expat living / working in Dubai. In my day job I head a team of programmers building a complex stock control and valuation system for a company based over here.

I can readily provide proof for anyone that needs it that that is indeed me, and I do indeed work for the company named as my current employer there.

Anyway, CHN turned out to be typical scam-coin; the dev ran off pretty soon after it was launched tanking the value of the coin to near zero.

I got stung by this like everyone else holding CHN, but I saw this as a chance to turn a problem into an opportunity.

The original dev has deleted the website and the discord channel.

This is going to make reviving the coin a lot harder, but not impossible. I have established a new discord here : https://discord.gg/UbyDsZR

What was the original idea? How long does it take to complete this project?

As far as I can see the "original idea" was for the dev to make a load of free BTC by launching a useless coin and getting it listed into MN.o and graviex.

My plan is to rebrand it to be used as the in game currency for a space-MMO I've been wanting to write for a long time now. There are a bunch of challenges
to overcome before that can happen, not least of which the fact that the original runaway dev has deleted the github and website for the coin, but thankfully
I still have the full sourcecode here as I was already working on a compatible rebranded wallet.

There is little point trying to think about extracting value from this coin as it's pretty much dead in the water and
there is only a slim chance that it can be rescued.

However having said that it's possible to buy this coin extremely cheap right now on graviex here : https://graviex.net/markets/chnbtc

The coin has been on the exchange for a long time now. It was put there before the original dev dumped his premine
and ran off with the BTC he made from the coin.

Now the coin is in a critical state but may still be saved as I have the original source code and I'm putting the coin
on another exchange I'm building for a different project.

I'm still worried about the prospect of this coin. but it likes me something. I see the potential of the team. the idea of the project makes me wonder. this meant, that I was somehow interested in it. maybe, I should buy it right now for a bargain price.
