I have seen in many trading signal telegram channel was promote and use Bitmex, and also i have seen many youtuber also promote it, that prove if this platform really legit and the founder of Bitmex Arthur Hayes has good marketing strategy to increase number of trader. Deposit and withdrawal is safe but margin trading with high leverage is not really safe.

I guess anyone who wants to go into marginal trading should always know what they are in for in the first place before even making the attempt. One thing a lot of people tend not to realize is that marginal trading when it comes to getting liquidated easily is a lot riskier than normal style of trading, but as they always say, the more the risks, the more the potential to profit much.

Nevertheless, bitmex is a good platform that has been thriving over the years as a good leveraging platform, so in terms of safety when it comes to security, as long as the individual make use of the added security features, they should be fine but if it is about safety of not getting liquidated, that is based on each individual's knowledge.

It is very safe, haven't heard anyone complain about it being hacked or losing funds, just that the type of trading on bitmex is risky, another thing is their withdrawal charges, usually higher compared to other exchanges

BitMEX is a Bitcoin platform and other Bitcoin based Bitcoin generators. BitMEX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HDR Global Trading Limited, which was formed in 2014 by three financial, commercial and technical specialists, including Arthur Hayes (CEO), Samuel Reed (CTO) and Ben Delo (COO). BitMEX was officially launched on November 24, 2014, was one of the first trading platforms at the time. BitMEX is one of the oldest and most trusted Bitcoins
Not sure if you dubbed this from somewhere or you know exactly what you are saying with that your last statement, about bitmex being one of the oldest and most trusted Bitcoins. Oh! I guess you forgot to copy the rest!! Grin
Bitmex is a marginal trading platform and over the years has been able to gain some good reputation, so trading safely on bitmex, is dependent on your ability to keep your account properly secured and your ability to know how to trade effectively.

I have used bitmex before though i am not their regular users, but with the few things i have used them, I don't have any issue with them, and yes it possible that price might varies with little difference on exchange, but you should know that market is been driven by the demand and supply and that's the reason why people prefer to trade with high liquidity exchanges

Is it safe to trade on bitmex?

1) I have experienced most of the times that the liquidation occurs very often and this rises a question if bitmex is real or fake. The second reason is whenever the market is down or hitting low prices the drop in bitmex is very huge compared to other exchange. This points really rises a doubt in my mind regarding the reliability on bitmex. Roll Eyes

2) I am not sure if trading bots on bitmex are real or not. Huh

Since almost more traders are there then I preferably say that it is safe there. I do also go and trade there and it is fine for me. Hope things doesn't go wrong.

Believe me, if you don't have 100 trillion USD in your account, your money cannot be stolen. Because people don't want to disrupt the system they built, maybe they earn a million times more than your money. Also, Bitmex is one of the proven trading platforms.

Lots of issues rises on your part so why still longing for this exchange when theres alot of choices you might have?leave bitmex and go to more successful, safer and popular exchangers .

Try to find local exchangers and bring your funds there, actually you dont need advices because it seems like you are a good trader and a knowledgeable person

bitmex promotion is currently being carried out on many social media, so maybe if bitmex can be successful and give traders a safe feeling, bitmex will be loved by many people. maybe this will happen to us many who don't know how to exchange this bitmex.

People use BitMEX for a reason, and that's exactly why there isn't an easy way to simply hop over to another exchange. BitMEX is the best in what it does, where the second best option is orders of magnitudes behind.

The most important factor of safety is that BitMEX doesn't operate hot wallets, which is something that directly makes sure that hacks with coin loss isn't going to affect their platform.

It indeed means that withdrawals are being sent out way slower (once a day in BitMEX's case), but I gladly accept that with security in mind. Exchanges operating hot wallets will all become victim of hackers stealing coins. It's only a matter of time.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

One of the reasons I really do not fancy trading on bitmex is just simply because right from time, I have always believed that spot trading is usually the best way to go when it comes to approaching trading. I know marginal trading means the possibility of more money, but personally, it is that more money most of the time that has put a lot of people in trouble by losing their funds hugely after getting liquidated. Shit happens in all market, but the thing with margin trading is that, it is a shit that can either make you or mar you as the case may be.

i think it's safe bro. don't be afraid. my brother use that and he said it safe
Being safe in the aspect of security by now is one thing I believe everyone should know that security is something that is on each individual. Bitmex has option for additional security and I believe they have a good secured system in place, which is still what is making them stand strong and growing daily anyway.

We should all must understand is that safety can come in different ways which could ball down on the safety of your funds due the decisions you make yourself. Anyone who wants to start their trade going marginal, should better be ready to learn more and practice spot trading if they have to before going this lane.

Extreme volatility would caused the frequent liquidation on this type of exchange

And exchange Volume will speak itself on its Market price, if its high volume expect a differences in prices compared to other exchanges

These were raised a lot questions to traders

however if you look closely, its a possibility of being there is and there's not

One thing for sure that this exchange is not for newbies

It is safe to trade at Bimex Exchange but I do not encourage people to participate in this exchange as this is where many people have lost all their possessions by margin. If you are an investor, it is best to stay away from this exchange because if you join you are exchanging your future for gambling

I think you should trade there because I have been trading on the bitmex trading platform for quite a long time and no problem. Its price will not say much because they do not have many real investors. In terms of safety, I still appreciate Bitmex.

Bitmex is very risky for me. Cause I don't know how to start leverage trading. That's why so many people don't like to trade on Bitmex. It's very high risky trading platform. So I suggest everyone don't use this exchange without proper knowledge about leverage trading.

Bitmex is a popular trading site because many sites are give the positive feedback of this exchange but you should research your own you will understand the exact information because user rating is 2.9 and many users are give negative feedback of this site so I am not prefer this site you should use Binance or bitterex your investment is 100 percent safe.

I really don't doubt it's popularity ,but according to my observations I think that some times the price fluctuations are done purposefully whereas i am pretty much confident about Binance and Bittrex.

I'm not quite familiar with bitmex, I just heard it and read it in some of the forums section here.  Maybe the only things which I could suggest is observe to their chat in bitmex what is their comments or feedback about the exchange, then check the volume if this platform has a moderate volume in the market at least, then if it is. Well, probably you can try to use it but if there are lot of their traders complaining to their exchange site better not using it.

It is not safe to trade on all of centralized exchanges and I think it is much more risky to trade on less known, low volume exchange.
Low volume really? when I checked at coinmarketcap its volume 250,000 btc in 24 hours Is that a low volume to you? Its a favorite trading site of traders using leverage system and has a huge volume everyday about its safety no one can tell but its a trusted trading site for bitcoins.
