Bitmex  have more than 1,5 billion dollar cap so you dont need worry about this exchange. better to think how to make more money is better

Well I've seen a lot of market manipulation that has ended up closing out the shorts a few times now on Bitmex. I definitely wouldn't say it's worth holding margin trades open for a long time on there, otherwise you're going to be subjected to one of these wild price swings eventually leading your short/long to close automatically.

Stick with traditional exchanges unless you have big balls.
