There are exploits in merit system, most people doing underhanded merit sale ; Old members' posts are not checked. Most of the posts of these members are useless and only written to gain activity. Injustice done here only for newbies...

It's a sad truth but most people will only hand out merit to their close friends. The effort required to rank up has increased exponentially.
