Riporto in alto Incredibilmente l'ho scoperto solo da un mesetto, ma da prove rapide lo ritengo uno dei progetti software più interessanti in assoluto. Finalmente il programma di comunicazione che mancava da anni in ambito FLOSS, e per giunta decentralizzato! Fantastico. Prima di pubblicizzarlo al mondo intero però aspetto 1) che sia stabile e 2) che sia pacchettizzato in tutte le principali distro. Ciao! |

W la trasparenza offerta da Bitcoin! Una roba del genere in BFI (o altre realtà le cui finanze sono basate interamente su criptovalute) non sarebbe potuta succedere. Ai tempi in cui ero segretario io a dire il vero avrei potuto fare lo stesso, ma sarebbe stato visibile a tutti e l'importo rubato sarebbe stato quantificabile al satoshi. Oggi, con l'uso di un indirizzo multisig, è diventato proprio tecnicamente impossibile. |

Non lo conosco, ma non credo proprio. 1) È decentralizzato? 2) Il protocollo è pubblico? 3) Esiste almeno un'implementazione libera/open source? Se la risposta a una o più di queste domande è negativa (da una rapida occhiata mi sembrerebbe così per tutte), allora non è possibile considerarlo simile a Tox. Ciao! |

Giusto per dare un aggiornamento, ciò che ora tiene ferma l'aggiunta del supporto gruppi sulla versione mobile, è che fino ad ora è stata in lavorazione un sistema nuovo per i gruppi.
Questa versione non è ancora stata però aggiunta alla parte core di Tox.
I dev dell'app mobile stanno aspettando questa aggiunta per supportarlo, aggiungere il vecchio sistema dei gruppi sarebbe una perdita di tempo.

Qualcuno ha voglia di fare da cavia per un collegamento video? Finora ho sempre usato Tox (pochissimo) solo per la chat, ma avrei bisogno di verificare il funzionamento delle videochiamate (prima di proporle ad altri, per evitare figuracce).
Chi avesse voglia di spendere qualche minuto (solo pochi secondi di collegamento, promesso) mi mandi un messaggio privato.

ma funzionano anche i messaggi offline (es. mando un messaggio a un utente offline e lui lo riceve appena accede?).
L'ho scoperto solo ora ma mi sembra un ottimo programma, proverò a fare qualche test.
