It lost general appeal for many reasons, The product is incoherent and funds needed by start-ups just never materialized. Working on the campaign leading up to ICO was fruitless enough they reduced or outright didn't pay bounty. STC needs marketing talent and general infrastructure to even begin raising capital and look serious. Dont spend too much time with them...
