You just need to send your referral code once payment is paid. You can see it in the free rides section in your uber app. Your amount of free ride may depends on your State/Country, once again you could check your app for the amount stated for the free referral rides.
Prices:
$ 2 per ride for 10 or less orders.
$ 1.5 per ride for 20 orders.

Does it work for all countries? Because If I can remember well I had free rides on Uber but they weren't getting applied.When I asked the driver he didn't knew about it either.(It was showed on my account page that I had discounts on rides)
