Ok so I'm in a pool with Prop Server. does prop stand for proportional sharing? if the block has lets say 500,000 coins and i have 3% valid shares of total amount, does this mean i would receive 15,000 coins?

Thanks

Yes. "Prop" stands for proportional which means that if you supplied 1% of the valid shares for a block, you get 1% of its reward (after the pool deducts its fee).
