I don't think it is possible to delete your account. Best you can do is link it to some email you don't use or create one for such purpose. Delete all your posts and change your password to something you don't even know. That is most you can do. Other than that you can also try sending an email to the owner to see if he can help you.

I am honestly not interested.

I just want this name (John4782) to NOT exist here anymore.

What is that such an issue? I've only posted once or so.

Just sell me your account as the guy above you said!

By creating a thread about deleting your account you have made it so that other people have mentioned your account at lease 5 or 6 times already.  Now you need to go back and convince all of these people to edit their posts that mention your account if you want it gone completely. Not sure how much of a "clean break" you wanted from this forum but you may be spreading the name rather than making it go away by bringing more attention to your account. So now, even if you change the name on the account someone could look at this post discussing the name change and see what name you used and what your new name is.

Well if you want to build up an online rep / footprint it's not good to do that, but obviously it backfires in cases like this.

If he is wanting to delete is account to hide his tracks then deleting your posts will show to the moderators and then a mod would probably come forward and say that he was wanting his account deleted because of x reason.

I still can't get the reason why you want your account be deleted. Does it connect to something illegal? Whats' the point?

im half tempted as well.. i registered so one member here that i met on another site could help me out getting some BTC. i came in thinking these guys here are really nice based on that as id have thought everyone would be hoarding everything and slitting the next mans throat otherwise and since registering and posting on the forum it would seem my initial impression of people here being nice and decent was WAY off the mark.. apparently if your a newbie then your automatically a scammer and no one wants to help you in the slightest, not even loans when you are willing to pay some form of collateral as requested by the person offering the loans and when they specifically mention they are willing to loan to newbies providing they get collateral.. and to top it all off these f--king stupid 360 second post rules and 5 PM per hour limits are the icing on the cake..

that said i still hold out some hope that not everyone on here is a complete ass, plus the member that helped me out initially has helped me out now twice in total and trusted me so i hold out some hope for people here (mind you i had to trust him also but still)..
You can't be having a 360 second post rule or a 5 pm per hour restriction if you're a jr. member with 42 activity.
Of course nobody is going to take newbies seriously, if you're not gonna commit enough to show interest in the forum,
why would anyone trust you with a loan?
There's a lot of distrust when there's money involved, nobody would give you a loan if you had no work irl just as an example,
if you dont show any commitment from your side - screw you.

Delete all of your posts, and change your password to something you'll never remember. It's the next best thing to getting your account deleted.
