The cryptocurrencyis not the only application of  the blockchain technologies. In fact, with being publishing of DAP and other blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency may be possible faded out from the stage.

I do not think that it will fade that easily. Maybe tommorow we would not use blockchain but some other implementation of blockchain idea that is far better with it's capabilities. Many new things can happen and turn around within next 5-10years. Big companies are trying to extract and look only at the part of blockchain tech because then it gives them the ultimate power within their centralized systems. I do not think that cryptocurrency will be forgoten that easily.

I see your point, so what are you try to explain is: As long as those companies are existing in the world, yet the cryptocurrency will not be easily vanished cause they still have some value?

based on my observation using the blockchain technology to create a decentralized currency has been the only usage of this technology. there are other possible usages but they have all remained as a possibility so far and each time we see another usage for example the DAPs that you mentioned we only see some bullshit excuse to create something to make money out of not to solve anything.

so yes cryptocurrency will remain the main application of this technology and bitcoin will remain the only one that is doing it right for the foreseeable future.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

name 1 good DAP that has actually done something and explain what that something was. if you can show us a real world application of DAP not just what they promised to do but what they actually did, then you are correct.

but the problem is you can not do that because so far all of them have been ICOs to raise money not to actually do anything. they promise to do this and  that and solve a lot of different things but in the end when it comes to reality you  can see they did absolutely nothing. they just got paid to release a token for trading on exchanges. and that ends there!

Possibly, yes. A blockchain without a token is a frequent topic of discussion and one that might not be so far-fetched in the future. As of now, however, there is no other way to truly secure a public ledger, as a token-less system wouldn't provide miners with a reward/incentive. For example, if we implement a token-less blockchain now and have there be a third party custodian service to keep track of it then all it does is undermine the original decentralized concept that was intended.
