Best post I have seen so far. A lot of people think you just keep buying at any point, but in that case, you may actually be picking needles.

Sure, that is not an issue for someone entering a long position and does not really care about further move in the market most especially downwards, which I believe it is rare to see anyone like that. I would have said, buy when the altcoins hit the solid bottom and they simply do not have any where else to go lower, or simply showing some accumulation signs at the dip, but not everyone will get that.

For someone that may not know how to trade much or understand some moves to give buying signal in the market, and like maestro said, it is better to wait for a break out that ended up forming a higher high and higher low before deciding to make a move and that helps in getting winning trades most of the time, which is one of the reasons to stay away from rapid pump and dump coins.
