blockchain is a decentralized and secured technology for transaction or transfer currency all over the world. But is it possible to stop one day or its forever?

I guess it will scale up to such a degree that we will not be able to count all the transactions. There will be more meshes of blockchain than the stars in the sky  Cool

I guess it will scale up to such a degree that we will not be able to count all the transactions. There will be more meshes of blockchain than the stars in the sky  Cool

Quote
By measuring the number and luminosity of observable galaxies, astronomers put current estimates of the total stellar population at roughly 70 billion trillion

To reach that every human in this world would have to make 10 trillion transactions.
If we give an estimate of 1 million tx in a lifespan we're going to have to wait for 10  million generations in order to reach that.

Hope I got the math right...I have the feeling something is off.

But is it possible to stop one day ?

Yes, the moment there is not a single miner left mining blocks the chain stops.

Bitcoin always experiences transaction movements and always runs all the time, and I think it's impossible to stop bitcoin in a day.

Depends on the mining. If now every miner stops their mining then there will be no new blocks in the chain. But meshes are getting bigger and complicated so is the power of mining equipments.

Yes bitcoin is the never ending process. People are well known about Bitcoin. The next generation kids also know about Bitcoin, this process will continue till the end of the computer. So no one can destroy this process.

Yes, I think it is. I think humans will enter the data age. Everything after that is data. Humans will become data people.

No, everything is alive. The blockchain never seems to end, but more advanced technology may replace it in the future. Now I can't predict what will replace the blockchain in the future, but it will always There is such a day.

The blockchain is immutable, and we will always have the blockchain. The only question is whether we will have something much more sophisticated. The field of cryptography is still growing.

Its a digital data. The space for data in internet is continuously upgrading. So is the Blockchain. The miners are continuously conforming transactions and making blocks to be added in the chain. Their equipment is also upgrading to do more complicated equations as the meshes getting dense. So I think it will go further until it being stopped.

Yes, bitcoin is an endless process. As long as someone else is maintaining the project, the block chain will not stop. I think in the future block chain can link most industries.

If you're referring to the bitcoin blockchain, yes, it's possible for it to be stopped if a global crackdown on miners takes place and seize all the mining equipment, further preventing the addition of new blocks on the chain. Given the 'decentralized' nature of bitcoin, and its miners being situated into different parts of the world, it would be hard to search all of these and seize it all, so that one possibility is ruled out. Another event that could possibly stop bitcoin's blockchain is a nuclear warfare wherein a huge percentage of the world is completely disintegrated and the remaining are left dying in nuclear waste. We are very far from that happening but it still is a possibility you cannot rule out to happen in the distant future, otherwise the process of adding blocks in the chain is ad infinitum.

The blockchain is from the modern technology and has been helpful in so many aspect of our lives. What could happen can be a modification of the existing blockchain. As it is now, stopping it will also mean stopping human activities.

If we look at the blockchain process until now it is true that bitcoin or blockchain is a process that will never end and this is great for the financial future.

Bitcoin and Blockchain technology are always running at all times, and the rest of the world uses it every time to make transactions, and I think blockchain will never stop even in just one hour.

Hi, Since there will be miners blockchain will never ends!
but problems can insurge. For example how to run a full node in your computer when the weight of the blockchain will surpass terabytes of memory?
I would like to know it.

We could say it that way. Ending process in the sense that market is controlled by investors and once they sold a lot, it will fall greatly and somehow, people will go back to zero and wait again.
Not unless someone throws away millions of btc to be lost forever so that prices will not drop to Zero.

If you are talking about transactions, I think it will have a limit like what happened before with the scaling problem. BTC and other crypto coins are still not adapted worldwide and we can still expect problems in the near future.

But is it possible to stop one day or its forever?
I believe that it's here to stay forever just like cryptocurrencies.
If there is something that can stop it then it can be the government that will definitely have an opposite stand against blockchain by implementing total ban of it. And it can also stop if there's no more data/transactions to process and it can happen if people will migrate to a better or upgraded version of it.

I think blockchain will not end, and future developments will also be better than now, as future bitcoin prices will increase over the course of the month, so I'll be more confident that blockchain will not end.
