[URGENT] BTC-e supposedly under investigation

The admin there says its under cyprus law but apparently the people who run it are russians. You guys know how the scene is with BTC-e ... its far from transparent .. even though its been one of the better exchanges to trade on. Long story short get your funds out of BTC-e.

I for one don't have enough trust on anything run by russians.

PS : this may turn out to be entirely FUD stuff but i'm not taking any chances. You guys can decide for yourselves.

According to their about page BTC-e is registered in Bulgaria.

At least one of the banks involved in the process is located in the Czech Republic; the BTC-e site references Bulgaria in its SEO descriptions; the founders, Russian programmers Aleksey and Alexander, honed their skills at the Skolkovo tech park; and the BTC-e managing company is based in Cyprus.”

Yea I'm not sure how the dynamics would work out considering the founders are russians. Anyways it was better about being safe than sorry.
