all you need to remember is that they create their own tokens instead of recreating BTC or ETH. So why boycott the ICO who does not want to pay using BTC or ETH. Why boycott all bounty campaigns? I think it's everyone's right to accept and not a project, there's no need for any derogation for that. I think your just fine because BTC and ETH is already established but I think you'll earn somewhat smaller than ICO campaigns because these ICOs have the opportunity to give you larger rewards than of the doing BTC or ETH. I also think that this isn't a completely deliberate statement. On the one hand, there are really a lot of failed or fraudulent projects that don't pay or their token drops in price; on the other hand, if you conduct a thorough analysis of projects and choose the right one, you will gain a big profit.

It seems that you had problems with your recent bounties. I doubt if a lot of bounty hunters will share the same sentiments as you have. Before joining make sure to do your research to avoid joining shitty or scam projects. There are a lot of profitable bounties or projects that have good potential.

I think bounty payments using BTC or ETH are very hard to find, most ICOs pay bounty hunters with their tokens, so long as bounty hunters agree to this, you can not bring your annoyed feelings and change the rules on your own.

I do not really understand the meaning of this thread. I mean why would they pay us in the BTC or ETH if they are promoting the project with their own bounty tokens ? That way they are saving big on their funds and it makes sure that they will not get into trouble by paying direct money. When they give us token they are also publishing their own coins and also making sure that they are in the secure zone pretty much! This is called as tokenomy in the bounty world and it is studied properly before they distribute the tokens to us and thats for a reason!

The upside of that for you is that if they actually pay you get far higher payouts than normal campaigns in btc. A normal campaign will earn you around 100$ per week, a bounty campaign can be 500$ per week if successful.

Most of them are just paying for the Full member and above.
The Hero members are doing 20s and 30s of post just for 20$ a week.

It would be good if all campaign would pay their participants in BTC or ETH but we don't have control over all the projects that are being launched everyday. There are advantages and disadvantages if they are going to pay direct BTC or ETH. One advantage that i see is they will no longer worry that the value of their token will drop because of bounty hunters dumping their bounties once it hit the exchange.

I have the same thoughts. Bad experience in participating in a bounty program and not getting paid will not be able to determine that all bounty projects are not feasible. There are still many bounty programs that pay and provide good profits. This depends on the ability to choose it.

There is no way that this can happen, there is no way that the projects can pay out all of the bounty participants in coins like eth or btc. You need to understand that when these people are paying you, they do not have the money that they are paying you, they rely on the coin doing good so you can actually get the money you deserve. While it is preferable, it's hard to force any bounty manager or project to make payments in BTC or ETH. The duty we owe ourselves as bounty hunters is to ensure we choose the right bounties by doing adequate research before joining.
