Well, but there's definitely some kind of bug.

Take a look at this address https://blockchain.info/address/1gMXFWhr2QcKq9bdrL34CZw5jAeumWf9n

Guy sent 0.06 BTC to Ponzi at 2014-02-05 07:30:06
Then at 2014-02-05 21:03:14 he got received 0.0718 BTC (fee 0.0002) all is good (0.06 * 1.20 = 0,072)
but why at 2014-02-06 22:00:02 and 2014-02-06 22:19:58 he received 0.02306 BTC and 0.0719 BTC

those both 14ji9KmegNHhTchf4ftkt3J1ywmijGjd6M and 1ponziUjuCVdB167ZmTWH48AURW1vE64q are ponzi addresses

These transactions:
https://blockchain.info/tx/4c3c6af847cde6e2ae92b9a192307b82e19acf0cb07bfa3177d593f648211af5
https://blockchain.info/tx/d3ec0ba57f5e4419b2481bc8df32ea8b9c7b2f4501f63febcc37696efe3dbcdb
https://blockchain.info/tx/6475fa1aed09cbce828a2a41d82e66e57fa2705b1f3308ded6b30129886bb923
https://blockchain.info/tx/2c82ced313755a95fbb84ae2cbc9772e01f8a52ae1b1e5ff2adf63a3117bba5f

So seems it overpays, thus delays queue and others will get later if they'll receive enough at all.

I have played the game quite a few times now and it has always come back to me with the 20% extra. Sometimes just takes a little longer.

And that is the risk you take. That is the gamble. You don't just get given money for free there has to be a riskof losing it all to receive a payout. That's the fun.

It can take a while Wink I recently send 0.2BTC (yes, I like to gamble, sue me) and it took a while before it came back. But it did in the end. I send the 0.2BTC payment on 18.02 and got the last payment on 23.01. It has to do in the way payouts are organized.

I'm just glad I'm not the 7BTC guy who got .73 BTC in return. Not a bright move to throw that much coin all in one go though.

I got my 0.2btc back in 4 payments so I'm guessing that something like that is going to happen again.

So that guy is not "guaranteed" the 120% payback like everyone else? or he will be paid in smaller payments that add up? What's going on?

I would assume so yeah. Greedy big spenders get lower priority so they don't clog up the entire queue. But they should get their money +20% back eventually yes, as long as the scheme doesn't die and people keep playing :')

Here are the scenario:

Ponzi.io Investor: I'm here to file a lawsuit about a website not paying back my 30 btc investment. This website is promising to pay 120% guaranteed profit within hours of deposit.

Investigator: Can you tell  me the name of the website where you invested?

Ponzi.io Investor:  Ponzi.io

I made 4 deposits and got them all back with the 120%. Total profit? 0.1123148+0.098+0.0198+0.0198 = 0.2499148BTC

I doubt the ponzi admin can still hold the temptation. Thousands worth of btc are in his hands. Good luck finding this anonymous admin when is gone.

Well actually looking at his adress https://blockchain.info/address/1ponziUjuCVdB167ZmTWH48AURW1vE64q he doesn't have all those BTCs, nearly all of them were sent (question is if they were given back?.
He stopped sending, though.

I'm thinking about sending some small amount once he starts giving back coins again (IF).

I played this ponzi for over 24 hours now.

If it's a scam I love to get scammed. No regret. 3.25 BTC in my wallet from 2 BTC.
