It depends where your location is. For example in US you can buy bitcoin via Fiat Currency using coinbase. Other countries might have different other options.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

There are many options apart from localbitcoins. For example, paxful may serve as alternative, if you prefer P2P systems. However, I think that buying from huge exchanges is more reliable. You can also check coinbase and if it’s available in your country, use it. Otherwise, explore cex.io as this exchange is one of the handiest for newcomers because of its interface.

I'm currently buying Bitcoins at buycoinnow.com because they have the lowest fee to purchase via credit card/dotpay with all places offering to buy cryptocurrency.

You can also buy them with regular currency. (You don't need any Bitcoins to start out or pay fees with, though a percentage of what you pay will go to the exchange rather than your Bitcoin balance.) Coinbase is very easy to use:

Coinbase Website:  https://coinbase.com

If you are really lazy and don't want to do anything, there's also Moon Bitcoin, which pays you just for having their site open in your browser:
http://moonbit.co.in

If you want to work a little harder (and get paid a little more) you can do surveys and other tasks and get paid in Bitcoin here:

Look for an exchange site that has a bitcoin itself. Try researching Binance and Kucoin. It is the best exchange for me because of it's best platform and easy to use especially for beginners. Always remember that you should buy bitcoin in low value and sell it in high so you can get a lot of profit. Don't sell your bitcoin unless you already have profit on it. Don't buy high and sell low.
