How has the present computerisation of the societies affect your own society?

In my society computer is now applied in all area of activities and the importance  of this civilization can not be over emphasize. Computer is serving a lot of useful purposes in my community. Record keeping is now made easy with the computer, events that took place in the past can now be recorded easily and locate easily when needed, most importantly peoples information can now be stored and accessed easily without any form of stress. What about you society?

Yup! We are currently amidst a technological revolution. It's all in the papers --news about automation taking over people's jobs, then there's cryptocurrency and blockchain tech changing the ways we transact, there's also virtual reality now being explored not only in medicine and entertainment but in transhumanism objectives as well. Virtual and augmented reality could one day be the answer to our questions about achieving immortality.

The easiest way to notice the computerization is by looking for a job. Nobody wants you to send applications via mail, they all want electronic versions sent to an email address. They also want some basic computer skills. This means that if you want to find a job these days you have to not only have access to a computer, but be able to use it and have some basic knowledge of Ms Office. It's also apparent that the requirements are increasing.

It has definitely enhanced how my society functions in terms of efficiency but at the same time I believe we have lost a lot of quality human interaction. I notice as I never have conversations with people who are cashing me out, but when I began buying things on my own 10 years ago, things were vastly different.

The good outweigh the negative, but computers, the internet in particular has kind of made the quality of life of certain people much worse. For example I think it would be a lot more irritating and annoying being a teenager now, with most of them constantly checking their Facebook, seeing if they got a new text and so on. It sounds like an annoying stress. Real stress over something useless.

Well personally I would say it has affect us mostly regarding communications. I still remember the days when we mostly interact with relatives abroad using mail, with some phone calls every now and then. Calls were more expensive and mind you these were the days before mobile phones!

Now we can just chat them via Skype or some other app. I think it's relevant since I come from a country that send a high number of workers abroad and also have a huge diaspora. While it will not replace being with the family in person, it's the next best thing.

I, personally can attest to the fact that communication has indeed been dramatically transformed by technology. As a freelancer, I gained a lot of opportunities worldwide because of the internet. I can interact with clients, regardless of time and location. It really is amazing. That's why I'm so surprised why people still go to offices. We are already equipped to basically work from anywhere, right?

The present computerization in society has greatly impacted on the socioeconomic and political affairs. Economic wise,business involving face-to-face transactions have been reduced to computer based reducing the contact time and the stress of doing so. Also as opposed to the early times of not being able to communicate with relative far from home, we are now ale to reach them in real-time over long distances and maintain family ties.

Computer plays a significant role in the advancement and progression of our society, as its function is versatile and flexible. And as of now, the present computerization of the societies affect our own society at large. Since we are living in a fast-pacing world, we cannot do anything but to go with how fast the world is and that includes global computerization. Now, this results to being flexible and progressive society then. It gives us more opportunities to maximize our skills and bring to life our concept in mind. It makes us do many things in a short period of time. Lastly, it stores more information we need and creates more data we want.

Computerization is gradually, but sure changing everything around us. I notice this when it comes to bureaucracy. There are so many processes going digital. This will happen more and more. Private and government organizations need to constantly ask themselves, if the physical presence of a person actually necessary to do what I need to do or do I actually need a physical copy of a document? In so many cases it's not necessary. It's so nice to see that so many countries are making it possible to apply for visas online. In some places, I've seen that it's possible to order a police record check online or even order a new passport online. We're using a lot less paper and we're saving a lot of time.
