This was the most popular cryptocurrency pyramid, in which many lost their money. So, I'm one of them.
I was a fool and I believed that I could make a lot of money. In the end, I lost all my money.
I wonder how many such fools like me? Are there people who have earned on this?

I also lost a few bitcoins here and there in a few ponzi schemes when I was a newbie and thought of quickly multiplying my money but every time the websites turned to be fake and always ran away with my hard earned bitcoins. So I learned a lesson the hard way that there isn't any get rich scheme in this world and you have to work hard to make money.

At least you have admitted that you committed something wrong with your money by investing wrongly. I didn't invest to this since I was too lazy investing into such coins and there are also people who helped the community to expose it as a scam so if you have been warned and you didn't listened it's your problem. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time the most important thing is to recognize it and never make the same mistake again, while I was not scammed I also invested in an ico and lost some money with it, but now I have learned my lesson and will not touch icos again, it is sad because some honest developers will not get the chance to develop their projects but with so many scams around I cannot take the risk.

I lost a lot of money to bitconnect pyramid. I was foolish enough not to see it as a scam until I sold some of my properties to invest in it with the hope of earning profit. Although it is a lesson well learnt in a hard way but I still felt very bad whenever I remember those properties I sold for buying bitconnect coin.

No wonder it was the biggest scam of all time. Literally bitconnect had no problem or shame telling that they are unfortunately closing themselves and we are closing our projects. That was the worst thing to see coming our way at that time. I have also lost huge amount in the process and I am pretty sure that people must have learnt a lesson which told them to stay away from the forked coins. This is what happened now, most of the forked coins are not getting invested that much. They are not even tried and tested with the 1:1 bitcoin to fork ratio and get the free coins type of strategy as people know ots risky to do so and they may lopse money. I remember the mentioned by the OP but not a fan and I never for once bought the coin. However, the only coin I bought which I also lost money back in the 2016 was Cloakcoin and Dogecoinm. I learn most of experience in cryptocurrency trading and investment through the coin.

Last November I used to rage so hard on people making bitconnect videos on youtube, I couldn't believe people were promoting it who had little to no experience in crypto.

Ya a lot of people lost money but in my opinion the people who were hurt the absolute most were the multi-level-marketers!

Think about it, bitconnect was the epitome of a multi-level-marketer's dream, no products/packages to sell, just buy this, click some buttons and Wa-Lah!! Passive income.

how about NXT?? i also experienced the same thing as bitconnect on NXT, is it possible that NXT will be able to touch the high price where I bought it? i loss so much money on NXT

I know that it's a pyramid scheme from the start but I bit the bullet and put some money in it last year about june or july I don't remember the exact time. At that time i think there's still enough time to break even from it and my guess is correct and i get all my money back plus some profit, i decided to get out when there's a lot of youtube videos about bitconnect as i feel it won't hold for much longer.

I would have invested in bitconnect but lack of funds at that time saved me from the scam.
