The very first on the list of forums is the LAUNCH announcements section.

Some are there first, but most are here. Theirs is just more organized.

my project altcoins.cc, see thread. currently some good fraction of altcoin community is focused on quick profit, rather than quality work. the message board system, is not a good way to cope with that. however having a closed service is not a solution either. best thing is: let announcers post a pull request to a public repo. if people discover its a virus or whatever it will be put in quarantine, etc.
