Thanks for this! I really appreciate all the comments here, now I have my 0.0003 on my wallet, just by trying the faucet sites. That is just a small value but good way to start to Bitcoin.
Yes Faucets are good way to start bitcoins what they do is they give you a little ray of hope... and sometimes that is enough for encouragement..! you get 100 satoshis next thing you know you are going for 100btc's[you'll need to buy them but they can still turn out profitable] Hahaha! Yes, I agree with you, but faucets are good for beginners like me to earn small bitcoins while researching more on how earn more bitcoins.

I would suggest other then faucets , try to work on your skills , what you are best at, like designing, coding , writing, etc.. nd then sell yourself your skills..! that will make you easy BTC

Not a faucet site but the current return to player is >160% on https://apopheniabtc.com until more players join. You still need a few mBTC to play though. Or you can use the referrals for free.

Free to play (if you have Minecraft), and you earn Bitcoins! A number of people reach the weekly payout maximum (0.02 BTC) each week too...!

You guys should run the free servers so people without the game can still join in.

The site http://paidfornothing.weebly.com/bitcoin.html also has a good list of working and legit faucets, some of them not listed in the big thread on this forum. Note that most of these faucets pays out to your micro wallet account, rather than coinbox, both sites do however pay out at roughly the same minimum.

With the amount received from faucets being so small, what is there to do with the amount you receive?
Coinbox pays you out at .00005500. Lets say you reach that amount everyday for a year...it's only 0.020075 BTCs (or $16.06). Just curious if there is anything realistic the small amount can be used for. Thanks!

The thought is that the amount will be worth more later on. For example, when BTC was a lot cheaper, there were faucets that gave entire Bitcoins. Who would have known they'd be worth what they are now? Same thing goes here. That $16.06 could very well be $16,060 someday.

Understandable and good point, I was assuming this was one possibility for it to pay off. Are there any services, games, casinos, etc. that work with BTCs and this small of a level now? Curiosity more than anything

Curiosity more than anything Kind of. Devcoins are still pretty cheap and Rapidballs DVC accepts them for gambling. A DVC is like 55 satoshi right now (so that 0.00005500 would be 100 of them). And if you're doing that, there's also a faucet that gives 5 more per request.
