This is a huge step in my opition for the crypto community.

Here the link
https://dailyhodl.com/2018/06/04/you-can-now-accept-cryptocurrency-on-twitch-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-and-bitcoin-cash-accepted/

From article:
Twitch bought by Amazon for $970 millions in 2014.

Maybe the time when we can buy with crypto from Amazon its coming.

Twitch bougth from AMAZON for $970 millions in 2014.

Maybe the time when we can buy with crypto from Amazon its coming.
This changes the meaning if you say Twitch was bought from Amazon...as this means its in new hands and has no ties with Amazon.

But if the message was suppose to read twitch bought by Amazon is using crytpo then this is good news for us ad there is a possibility of crypto coming to amazon where is asa larger user base...

Could be the first step in Amazon integration with crypto as a payment source. That would definitely cause a nice price increase. Time to get some popcorn and watch what happens next.

Twitch already used an internal currency system, adopting crypto for donating purposes is the next logical step.

This is really good, i've never donated anything on twitch but i know that alot of people do. Big money on that stuff, also i relative big part of their crowd is tech savvy so i guess it's a logical move. Hopefully this will result in more adoption and spending. Thanks for the news!  Wink

If you read the article you would know that it wasn't Twitch that accept crypto, Streamlabs did. Streamlabs make it possible for streamers to accept crypto tips. So this isn't directly related to Twitch, let alone Amazon.

Well as i read it combined with the streamlabs announcement the article was based on i read it as streamers using the platform that is the twitch content creators can now accept crypto donations directly to coinbase as any other type of donation. So not connected to amazon in anyway, but still good news for crypto in general. I bet they have people on twitch focused on crypto and technology as well, it's not just a gaming platform as i've understood the twitch model before.  Wink

Twitch.tv Website Ranking
https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/twitch.tv

For those out of the loop, Twitch.tv is a website where videogamers stream themselves playing games.

One way videogame streamers make money is by allowing users to send them messages that show up on the screen.
Users will pay $1-5 to send a message that gets seen by everyone. Some streamers even enable a robot voice to read the message out loud.
