" Russell transferred over $150,000 worth of bitcoins to the online wallet of Williamson in hopes of getting it back in a different form."

That is misleading. He transferred $1000 worth of bitcoins, not $150,000. That the 200 bitcoins are now worth $150,000 is irrelevant.

Even worse, the article then implies (without any evidence at all) that the scammed bitcoins were donated to the Bitcoin 100 charity.

lol ...Article doesn't imply that at all. Are you sure you even read it?

Are you a stalker?..First you (unsuccessfully) try to prove how the homeless guy was better off begging for dollars in one of my previous posts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448806.0).. and now you're attacking me here?? lol how shameful...  Cool Cool

jackass didn't even read. the guy bought the bitcoins when they were 5 dollars a piece(1000 dollars total). when he traded them, they were worth around 150k, and he got burnt

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

It certainly does imply that they are related. If they are completely unrelated, then why does it matter if the amount is similar and why is that interesting?

$150,000 Bitcoin Trouble
A man in the city of Eau Claire, Wisconsin reportedly lost more than $150,000  ...

…$150,000 Donated To Charity
Interestingly enough, in a separate case, there’s a similarity in the amount of Bitcoin transferred to a charity by a proud anonymous scam artist.

I guess I am wrong about the $150,000. I was going by this line:

Quote
The anonymous donor gave Rassah’s organization 180 bitcoins in January of 2013. With the recent rise in the bitcoin value, the money then worth $2,600 is now worth about $150,000.

Are you a stalker?..First you (unsuccessfully) try to prove how the homeless guy was better off begging for dollars

I was just pointing out that if two beggars are on a corner and one is begging for dollars and the other is begging for bitcoins, the dollar beggar is going to make more money.

Anyway, I can't help it if your site sucks because all you seem to be able to do is to regurgitate articles from other sites.
