Cant believe someone actually paid 0.1 btc/vtc for a small amount, took so long for the confirmations I missed all the selling opportunities at 0.05btc/vtc.
I think I saw someone buy 25 BTC worth at that price, bet he wished he was a bit more patient now

Hm, I didn't see a 25 BTC buy. What you're taking about always happens though. Usually it's only a small amount of coins so could be either Cryptsy staff testing or someone just wants to get the starting price really high. When my deposit cleared the highest I saw was 0.01. |

deposit not showing. i think cryptsy took deposit down to sell own coins and my deposit will show up (180 confirms now) when price is lower again. Or am i the only one who can't deposit?
i think they did: hold up deposit first 30mins or so, before that selling 20 minutes own coins only. then letting everybody in who deposited aleady, then shutting down deposit again to ride the wave out themselves.
not happy to have my gains taken by them. why would they add a coin when wallet is not working from first hour? this is an intended deposit-bug on vtc today i think.
price is nearly 40% higher on cryptsy like on coinedup. they make buyers buy higher and sellers miss out. so only cryptsy wins.

Yes, some individuals have waited for 10+ hours already. Cryptsy at its best again... I could be wrong but i read somewhere that big vern and co. Will launch any open source coin if you pay them 5 btc. And few extra if you want to sell yours first. |

This. I was planning to sell 20% of my VTC when it hits cryptsy and they lose my deposit in a limbo with no explanation for 12+ hours, so I missed the 0.012+ window, when the prize plummets then my deposit shows up. Downright shady and criminal. Well, did lose only ~$500 profit but that's no small amount in the real world and people are getting sued for less. |
