So in about 14 hours 4.4 mature and just under 6 with coins not yet mature added.
These are nice to mine shit coins and hold them
power cost is .5 to .7 kwatts a day. at 20 cents a kwatt that is 10 cents to 14 cents a day.
With the 3 bitstreams provided I mined
7 or 8 crea 36 xdag 6 max
power cost under 40 cents
you can mine and hodl coins cheaply
for 4 dollars power
I would have mined for about 30 or 40 days and be hodling
80 crea 360 xdag 60 max
you put them on an exchange at 10 cents for first ½ 20 cents for next ¼ and 40 cents for last ¼

Yeah arm_race helped with first algo a few days back and we talked on cell phone to do the bitstream flash for second algo today I was a big boy and loaded the newest bitstream flash all by myself and it is now working fairly well. I will run it over night. good job get it running! yes this Maxcoin is Keccak, the other CREA tested earlier is KeccakC, theoretically all coins based on the two variants can be supported by the host SW. Phil you're doing awesome, mines been dropped off and hope to pick it up and get a review up, will take me about 10 days

Thanks. yes xevan probably a massive algorithm design requiring a bigger fpga chip, maybe like you said to have multiple ones linked to each other on a single pcb. we are still working with chip suppliers trying to bring down the price. are you planning to add stratum getwork support to the miner app? If so, yiimp pols and others would easily be able to be mined to. This of course is assuming it is presently coded just to speak directly to a wallet.... if i'm not mistaken.
we do have an integrated host software that has Stratum, currently supports keccak, keccakC, pascal, skunk, etc. the only one unique is xdag, which doesn't support stratus protocol, so that's why currently a hacked up version wallet sw if used instead, eventually we will figure out a way to integrate into the main host sw. perfect! When these are a final product; as long as I have the extra to spend on one; Ill at least be getting one. I tried myself doing some research on the xevan algo flowcharts (a few coins I mine are xevan) and I really can't find anything; and I don't have the patience to sift through the ccminer code to pick out exactly what its doing; since it seems to have reference to many other algos as a part of itself.... one place online hinted that it would take ~2FPGA's working in unison to be able to do that algo. Keep up the good work! The multiple bitstreams already is a good sign!

This looks encouraging, know next to nothing about the mining process but it's so fascinating to read about and especially to follow the thread and follow the flow of information.

now the latest algo I loaded was pointed to a max coin address of the op. today I made a max coin wallet and switched to mining for me. My address is below https://www.nlpool.nl/?address=mZFiNE92BTaBtj1Nj4LgVZJzFd6hCHGirDthis change is easy I just put in a new address in the settings file no flashing

Hi, we are still in the process of communication with FPGA supplier on the exact delivery date and price . we want to make sure the 1st batch will be shipped on time before taking in any order.. sorry for the long waiting and thank you all for the patience. at the same time, we are processing all the survey inputs, and will post some response to our discord channel!

Thank you for your interest! The FPGA chip used in our design is from Microsemi's new product line, just start rolling out in Sept. we have been working with microsemi factory trying to improve the product delivery date. keep quite for a while since we don't want to overpromise anything or spread inaccurate information that we couldn't deliver without a clear confirmation from the factory. on the software side, we are prototyping the bitstream design for Tribus and 1SHA224 algorithms.

I took a peak today and see a high reject rate of 25% are you having heating issues with the prototype? keccak 1 0.1227% 544.3 Mh/s 25% edit: just jumped to 44 while I was posting this. keccak 1 0.0829% 339 Mh/s 44.4% I do like this project, how many more to go before a run is made?

Rejects flux may be the pool at the moment I am over 850mh. room is hot with a lot of gear. the prototype is not cooled well builder mentioned that to me so I have this fan blowing on it. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106140runs cool enough. Builder has told me they are looking for investors. Ie they don't have much cash. I told them after all the other fpga problems they should consider build a small batch and selling it off. It is nice gear and does not burn much power. But no one wants to lay out money and wait months for gear in this market. I hope they do build a more polished batch and sell it on a we have it in hand basis. Maybe offer two ways to buy. pay x and wait for batch 2 (bigger batch) Pay x + 50 usd and no waiting for batch 1. (small batch) I have close to 270 coins . which are worth about 8 bucks.. cost to mine under 10 cents a day. 30 watts x 24 hours = 720 watts at 10 cents 7.2 cents a day 270 coins = 7.56 usd for 48 days of mining. so $3.60 in power earned $7.56 in coin. which means it is worth a shot for 1 or 2 not 10 or 20. Have to say I am still waiting on my acorn gear from the real company and I did opt for a refund. BTW no one has an acorn miner in hand and the fpga's are also slow to arrive.

Thanks to your continuous interest in testing our product! Regarding the production, we are trying to acquire 50-100 of FPGA chips and build a small batch of pre-production boards for early bird customers ASAP. I have to say it is a frustrating process, as the fpga manufacturer is going through a merger with another company which significantly delayed their production plan of this new product line used in our design. Again, we'd rather not selling anything than taking in orders we don't know 100% it will be fulfilled on time. In the meantime, we are working on another HW design, a performance beefed up version with bunch of features added based on the customer feedback received in the last few months. we will switch to work with a larger fpga manufacturer and currently discussing the design feasibility of features we plan to add to this product. In one or two weeks, we shall be able to release more information. we won't give up until a good product is made! Thank you for your praise for our miner. as i explained in Philip's post, we are working hard trying to get the first batch built for early customers, at the same time, try to launch another enhanced version of fpga miner design in the near future. I believe transparency and open is the key to success, our goal is to make a community owned project, accessible to every miner.
