To me MSI is a criminal institution which returns burned motherboards and videocards with a serious defect as non defect and nothing wrong with them to their customers. Which could have a caused a house fire if my very expenssive self bought surge protectors would not had been placed.
So them saying idiot and dangerous things is normal in my view, i will allways try to protect my friends against this company.
Their support is the worst on the planet and does not answer ever in a normal manner.
One advise be smart and never buy from them ever again

To be honest 24/7 mining is hardly a "typical" use for ordinary computer hardware (I know I'm preaching to the choir, but still). You'd get a similar response if you asked why your LN2-cooled overclocked processor suddenly decided to fry itself.
Distributed computing, both on CPU and on GPU is nothing new. There are thousands of computers busy on that, crunching for science, for more than ten years. Bitcoin mining is relatively new compared to that.

I see you are pretty gangsta.
I'm pretty gangsta myself.
One time I took three extra packets of sugar at a Dunkin Donuts and DIDN'T EVEN PUT THEM IN MY COFFEE!

This type of thing just goes to show how many people still do not understand bitcoin and how it fits into society currently.

Too many people speak too soon on a subject they know very little about.

You would think they would have an idea of who is buying all of there cards & look into it as 10 minutes of reading anyone with any common sense would come to the conclusion there's very little illegal to bitcoin/litecoin let alone mining  Huh

Please everyone. Lets go to MSI and show them that we are good honest people.

Post a kind message in this off-topic section on the MSI forums.

Please. No need to troll or be offensive. We need to show MSI that we're not terrorists or money launderers.
We also need to encourage MSI to research Bitcoin and educate their mods on the subject. Please show them that they've been misguided by not being offensive.

Companies like MSI won't listen so I think the best way to force them to change is hit them in their pockets by refusing to buy their products en mass until they relent.Companies hate lost profits due to a public outcry. Now to add MSI to the list of companies that are anti bitcoin, like Apple. thing they should bear in mind.. the average pc enthusiast MSI customer will buy ONE GPU, and the average bitcoin enthusianst MSI customer will buy 3-4 GPU.

Thats interesting for me to know but why not takeaway that first GPU sale from MSI by encouraging PC enthusiasts to shop elsewhere.Easy strategy, they don't get business from us,they lose profits and will be forced to surrender, sooner or later especially if they can't sell their GPUs.If everyone worked together in this community to teach bad actors a lesson, then we win Smiley

I also presume the RMA figures for miners will be much much higher compared to the average pc enthusiast, which will cost MSI a lot of money.
All in all it might be more profitable for them to neglect the market share for miners.
