I would not say I am addicted to my cell phone. Cell phone is like an information into the inside world. We get several information just at the click of a button. Excessive use of it is what I will call addiction.

I learned not to be addicted, I don't use it much actually. It usually distracts you from your goals.

Nope, I just check whatsapp messages and put it away. Unless I'm away from home, I use my phone to read and make plans. It's not an addiction for me, I can live without it.

Not yet, but nearly becoming one. If you define it as holding my phone most of the time then I think I am.

Totally, but I try to use it to my advantage, First of all, I work with the help of my cell phone, and secondly, I use Instagram, Facebook, and other social media to learn languages, so every time I open one of them I learn a new word or a phrase. It works! And I don't feel guilty as my time is spent on something useful. Also, social media are a source of inspiration for my design ideas.

Depends on how you define "addict". We depend on our cell phones for communication and in this age of social media, it's even harder to not use our cell phones!

I also feel dependent on the cellular, well, without him, he and my alarm clock, and my reminder of important events, and music, and pleasant communication with important people for me. I can not without him.

We need phones nowadays to get connected and to acquire information, addiction may relate to screen dependency disorder.

I totally agree with you, even now at concerts people instead of listening to music, shoot for hours on the phone the whole process. From this there is no pleasure

The most of the people say that the smartphones exist to give others their undivided attention, but what they don't know that using the phones during social events actually diminishes them own experience of those events. So this tool is responsible for our unsatisfying social interactions.

We are really addicted to our phones? What can we do? What you can do when you keep your phone on and what you do on usually?

In some cases it is not addiction, what happens is that when we get used to certain comforts, we make it essential, so that leads us to not have them, we have or fall into despair, it is very necessary for our lives, in how keep us communicated and at the same time interact in real time in front of important events. If we have our phone on, what we always do is check what has arrived, if a text, whats app, any notification from a social network.
