Just curious, did the VRM cooler fit under the accelero extreme without modding?
I had to bend my accelero twin turbo for my R5 VRM cooler to fit under, and by bending the heatpipes I seem to have ruined it Sad. The heatpipes still seem to work when I put a kettle of boiling water on the cooler, but when used on a videocard my temps have shot up dramatically and 2 of the 4 heatpipes no longer get warm;  it looks like the heatsink base is no longer perfectly flat and I have some lapping to do.

Anyway, was just curious if you ran in to any such problems and how you solved it as I have a 5870 coming in and looking for decent cooling.

PS: anyone interested in buying this card, get that vrm cooler also. Its fabulous (dropped my VRM temps from 110+ to 55C on a 5850) and I suspect its a necessity on a 5970.
