Hello, from my small knowledge in Airdrop, I think Airdrops are only good in the path of the project and not for people participating in the airdrop because in the part of the Project, it increases the reach of the project (project awareness and social media reach increases) and on the path of people participating it only gives them small rewards which makes it more favorable to the Project.

Please share your view on this so i can update my knowledge if am wrong. Thanks

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yes it's only small rewards but if it were much bigger rewards it wouldn't be good for the projects as there would be better marketing alternatives. Also don't forget that it's so easy to sign up to airdrops that you really shouldn't receive that much.

You are right with what you have said. Most times, airdrop rewards are always low and the strategy behind this is that;
- it creates more awareness for the project
- it makes those given small reward, to buy more during the ICO or after the ICO.

It's good for both. A cheap promotion for the project and free coins for the participants.
Though most of the time the price of airdrop token don't even cover the transaction fees.
But for some good project, it reaches over $100.

It can benefit the both sides. it is one way to introduce the coin to the community. It is also giving the public a way to earn extra money for the participants.

Personally I don't bother participating in airdrops because the amount you receive is so small it ends being nothing more than a nuisance clogging up your wallet. I suppose that the person issuing the tokens thinks they get some value out of it, perhaps increasing the marketcap or spreading the word, but for me when I see people giving away tokens I think they are sending the message that the tokens have no value and are unlikely ever to because the people behind the project are incapable of producing something that people would actually want to buy.

yeah airdrop is good for strong projects, it is a way to gather more community members and make to be aware of your project and in the end of them might end up investing in the project if they find the project interesting, so airdrop is good for a project.

I think airdrop is not profitable, but it only benefits their project and they also give a little token, I do not really like to participate to airdrop but I would rather participate to bounty campaign I think it's more profitable

For the project side, air drops can increase the number of supporters, so this is what the project team wants to see.
For those who participate in airdrops, they can get a certain amount of income.

Yes, there some airdrops that only favours the project and not the participants, but there are some that favours both. For instance ontology had its airdrop in February 2018 and 1000 token was given to each participants. Ontology got listed at $3 and the participants became rich and also the project keeps flourishing.

Airdrops helps projects exposure its a very easy task most of it gives small rewards but its okay because its free so if you got it for free its good for both sides, Some of them needs kyc but be careful some of them the only purpose is just to steal info's.
before I earn $2000 came from 1 airdrop token it was prl 😊 but now most of them need referrals and bots.

Yes, airdrop only bring more investor join their project, but not for you earn from airdrop, airdrop just a very small value free money, can't cover transaction fees, don't focus on airdrop, become a ICO investor or bounty hunter, income better than airdrop  Smiley

Usually airdrop is distributed free of charge especially for the bounty hunter, for me the value is enough, if you want to get bigger, you can come to invest in the project and will get airdrop with bigger value.

Yes it's good for project, more over they don't send much, it's just used to get more holders into the project. I really don't do air drops , else it looks so good that it's worth holding

The more Airdrop, the prospect of a project will increase, because in terms of enthusiasts will be overrun with the number of participants who follow. although the amount of airdrop also does not close the possibility will reduce the market of a project, because in general for those who receive the results of airdrop will sell as soon as possible without seeing the development of projects that have been followed. But with the airdrop and the more people who hold and follow it, the project will be more successful because it is always supported by the crowd.

Airdrop is one of the marketing methods of the project. Its role is only to promote the product. If it provides too many rewards for the people who joined, then it will affect the price of its tokens! For players participating in airdrops, it is also a good option to earn a small amount of profit in minutes! So both airdrops can get benefits!

For the project with ICO, developed product, working team, fulfillment of its goals and road map, I consider airdrop to be a very useful thing, it is additional assistance and free advertising of the company's product and its specialists, confirmation that the project works and has great prospects for growth. But I am against a million airdrops, which are pacifiers and collect user data, and attract investment in empty projects.

Airdrop is majorly beneficial to the project except one has a massive referral. I got a rethink after I was sent 5 tokens fro a project of 100billion total supply and another project sent me 18 tokens from 1billion supply. Ever since then , I select the airdrops I fill to avoid wastage of energy and too many bombardment of my telegram app. But should I see a project not conducting ICO, I do join the Airdrops, and also a project that specifies how much token will be airdropping per participant, I join in relation to the project coin supply and future value.

In my opinion, the airdrop program provides a reciprocal advantage between a project and an airdrop participant. Although the average token given in airdrop is relatively small, but if the project is able to grow rapidly, that would be a big advantage.

I really do not see any point in airdrops but really though, who cares since it is free money anyway and you would not really have to do much most of the time. The thing with airdrop is that you will have to be ready to hold as long as you want to.

Some may end up doing great in the long run and some may not, but the idea is to have a huge community behind the coin. It is easy for a project to end up highly volatile in the long run, when very few people are holding the market.
