No, it depends on the project itself. Before you buy coin on the ICO, make sure that the coin you will buy is potential to any pump and increasing value. It means you need to study the whole project, the roadmap, plans, application, concept etc. for you to decide whether it is worth to invest or not.

Yes you should. This time when the price is low is the time you can buy. But you must be careful. Do not buy to much. Investment is one of the channel investments.

Everyone will have a different risk profile and that's why not everyone will invest in the same proportion and investment options. I would consider ICO as the high-risk investment category so I would not invest more than 20% of my overall capital in such options. If you believe that you have comparatively higher risk profile then you can go with that way.

Yes, i too agree, but after entering the market i am not sure the price will start increasing because many people who bought them at presale will start selling them when they made some profit through investment. Most of the people are not looking for long-term investment just looking for short terms and selling them after listing in exchanges.

Meaning buy after listing in the market or at ICO-sale? I advice not to buy at ICO-sale, so far the price of ICO is lower when in the list in the market. especially when the current ICO began to decline in popularity. Indeed the risk is still there and what you are doing now is right in my opinion, it's just because the current market is bad so it is difficult to make a profit.

i think investing on ico's is not worth it right now its better to buy it off an exchange after its release because you would save alot than buying on ico because alot of people will dump their coins after the exchange especially if the project have bounty program.

Though the bunos in ICO is really big help than low price in the exchanges. Now the mostly of the ICO gives 1-20% on after you buy their coin . As an investor in ICO and not buying on exchanges I could really get a ton of profit if it reaches its ICO price because of those free coin that they give you after you buy , those trader will also earn profit but not like those investors

They give you the bonus because they want to promote their ICO and more and more people invest in their ICO, but I think it is risky for the time being. When you have many options there in the crypto market for investment they why you want to invest in ICO. I think it is not sensible decision and not profitable. I will never put my money ICO with exchange.

I think a lot of ICO projects are mistakenly labelled as a scam, when in actual fact they are just either poorly executed projects that end up trading at lower than their ICO price. Very few ICO projects are straight up scams looking to steal money. Just play your cards right and choose ICOs backed by success, and it's unlikely they will end up trading lower than ICO value when they hit an exchange.
