Came across this link. All amazon items are available. Coinwarz shows about $30 a day return. What do you guys think?

You can build one a lot cheaper than that. 3 MH/s should run around $2600 or so.

Sweet, thanks larem. Can you share which device would cost $2600?

Someone else may be able to do a build-out for you. When I did it last that was in November, and the tides have changed since then due to all the new GPUs being released and such. I haven't done a build-out recently (though I may end up doing it if I can figure out how I am going to dissipate all the heat, lol).

I was planning to do the build myself - and the $3,277 is the sum of all parts combined (GPU, case, hard drive, etc). Maybe the prices have inflated since November? I would imagine so.

It's technology; technology *always* gets cheaper, :p. Unless you're trying to stay top-of-the-line on everything, which isn't necessary with miners considering they are only really running the GPU. FWIW, for miners you should be using an open steel case (like just beams) rather than a real case due to the heat.

Except that graphics cards have been getting more expensive due to demand. I bought my sapphire 7950 for 300 dollars a few months after they came out without even knowing what bitcoin is. Now you would be hard pressed to find the same card for under 500.
