if me i will do day trading and long term trading because sometime day trading not give any profit and we must hold our coins longer. there is no way we must cut loss our trade activity to change to new coin/token

well they are connected to each other if you know how cryptocurrencies are used then you do not have to ask about  it and chosing from it. Because it is done both complimenting each other.

But okay let us evaluate.

Holding cryptos are done just by stocking your coins in a wallet aand wait for price movements while day trading is when you buy low and sell high and on repeat to gain profits.


if it isn't clear enough, holding is in between in the WAITING part.

that is called holding short term and holding for years is long term investment.

If I may say, Day trading is risky but if you get lucky, you  can earn good or you might lose it all while in holding, it is profitable for long term investment not unless it goes down constantly, If that happens hold until it returns back up. Or else your feelings might drive you crazy.

Yes. On the real sense, why will I ever want to be day trading if I have enough money to make so much from swing trading. Sure, a lot of people have what works best for them, but I really do not see any sense in HODL when there is a lot of benefit to gain from the fluctuation, or day trading when there is a lot of headache to gain from the market noise.

Like you said, it makes a lot of sense trying to get more information on the best way to go about things, but the two options the OP mentioned are really not it for me.

Token is good thing to hold but I think we should try to buy at the lowest price and hold it as much as possible, as some token rises too fast so in day trading you will need to have a lot of experience and alot of skills to make all problems easy to solve for you, If now we are going well with the demand and supply then price will have been started to rise because of less panic selling and more holding strategies.

Before posting your question if you search for it I hope you will get a lot of answer for this. However, I would like to thank you because how much we discuss how much we learn. I think day trading is not good for the crypto market but you could do the long-term trade. But I will suggest anyone for HODL before reach your goal. Make a decision to your target then HODL to reach your target.

Not daytrading but a short term trade. I don't like doing HODL anymore because I experience twice of losing an opportunity to profit and the worst is I'm losing more each day that passes. Just a small rise is enough for me to sell it quickly.

My opinion and the best experience is when you are trading some coins and holding some. There are coins of different types on the market. Some of those are bad for holding and some are best for trading.

I have couple of friends who are doing crypto trading professionally. They say that day trading is so tough right now and the price is just so unpredictable so you can lose a lot of your assets, if you trade daily. But, the opposite situation is with HODL strategy. Cryptoccurency market slowly develops and its capitalization right now fluctuates in the range around $300 billion, and capitalization has skyrocketed from the last year. Thus we can make an assumption, if cryptocurrencies solve some big problems all around the world, then definitely the price will go up because more people in the future will be using cryptocurrencies. 

Thus I advice you to stick to some interesting ICOs that are available on the market. For example I've invested recently into perspective ICO which is called Cryptics. These guys have created a platform that is capable of predicting the price of different cryptocurrency assets with high accuracy rate up to 70%. Currently it can be used for free, and there's no such a tool on the market which can analyze crypto assets so well. This technology definitely solves some traders' pains, thus it can easily grow in price in near future.

Day trading is really ricky. If you are new to trading dont try day trading. You may face huge loss. One experience people know how to gain profit in day trading. So without any proper experience dont go with this. Hodl your coin until price up.

I think that this time has started the hold season, there are lots of potential coin currents, coin top is very low and this is a good time for you to collect cheap coin. The market is fluctuating continuously and bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting, so I think you should divide the capital and start collecting coin and this time in case the bitcoin price can fall deeper .

I prefer the hodl method, although that has hurt me very much lately. Day trading does seem like the better route overall, but if requires much more skill and dedication.

HODL method is more like the lazy man's method and truly the easiest for anyone who does not like market noise. Obviously, we cannot all be traders for reasons best known to us, but we can at least all be investors looking forward to the future of our holdings irrespective of what the present condition looks like.

Day trading is even a lot more risky than normal trading which to me is far from it, as you are more like the noise of the market and comes with a lot of risk. Mixed of both day trading when the fluctuation are predictable and always holding some bitcoin is the formula, I am following right now.

Altcoins season seem back with some increase from Payx, POWR, Etc and i think this is great time to start buying altcoin in bottom because those altcoins can bounce back anytime. Buy and hold until you get profit from those altcoins is the best option now.

I believed that some of them really try to learn how to day trade, others might be successful, others failed and just get out. While those who stay, and doesn't want to do anything is simply HODLing them. And as I have mentioned, since the game has really changed, for me its better to do day trading, but just be cautious of the risk.

that is really great, choosing day trading is really a good way to better our profit and we can be actively earn profit from trading when the market drops too much, holding in this time is really depressing and taking too much time, it would be better if we can get alot of token in this down trend and wait until the market recover to enjoy the fruit of our work.
