Don't sweat it guys. Price is going up, difficulty is climbing like hell. 108 atm, ATH.
Don't get me wrong, Crypsty has no excuse, it's terrible I'm not defending them. But there's no reason to lose the patience especially when things are looking good.
I don't think it's a scam, the guys added the coin the same day and I guess they rushed it.
I'm sure the coins will eventually show up and you will be better holding them then too. You would have definitely regretted panic selling on the way down to 080s and you will probably regret if you sell at current price with the coin flourishing and a weak orderbook.
Cheer up, VTC is #11 on coinmarketcap, it's getting loads of attention to miners, investors and traders. You'll see.
My 2 cents.

ps: I'm stuck in the cryptsyloop too Tongue.

Finaly my VTC arrived. Selling them immediately, happy with my 400% profit. Now let's dump this coin and buy back at .5

Same problem. Bad move Cryptsy, you loose your clients.

A more detailed explanation:

My VTC deposit on Cryptsy wallet someone moved right after confirmation through two wallets. I think, I never see coins back. Thank God only 3 VTC.

I look now on my Cryptsy balance and my 3 VTC is back. But i don't know what their are doing, because my original VTC Cryptsy deposit address was not charged back. Weird game from Cryptsy.

I like that way of looking at it! VTC is definitely doing great, this is just a mild setback. Hell, it generated buzz. VTC shut down an exchange.

Also, my deposit cleared, but my withdrawal is not going through. I guess I'm not the only one trying to get their coins out.

Did Exactly the same with DOGE.
In Fact they sell you numbers only and do not possess any in stock, So how can you trade what you DON'T have???
Freeze and post a message telling that the massive trade hiccup the server b*llsh*t!!! Yes BOYCOTT Those Crooks!

My guess is the real peak will be at 16:00 GMT.

Didn't I say so?  That was pretty precise.

And shortly after, miraculously my VTC appeared in cryptsy.

After they had been hidden for 1/3 rd of a day.
I haven't exactly counted my losses yet, but they are substantial.

Now if you want to go back to my posting #14, and choose which explanation was the correct one.

I still don't know.

I finally got my coins as well. It still does not excuse them for manipulating the market so they can send the price soaring.

OMG.

As soon as my VTC are there I'll withdraw them to another exchange. IDIOTS!

BEWARE!

EDIT: As "soon"...  Roll Eyes

EDIT2: Or I'll just keep em...
First compiling the wallet did take 2 days (My first "save" laptop didn't have enough RAM, second first needed a clean install).
Now this cryptsy thing guess I should keep em  Cheesy.

I suffered the same fate too... And I had a lot of over 800 VTC transferred from coinedup which came in so much later that by then the price had halfed! Cryptsy ought to pay attention to this kind of happenings.

Even a bitcoin transfer took nearly 24 hours for me once, had 160 confirmations but did not show up in my wallet for till 24 hours after the first 6 confirmations. I think these things just happen.

Though it is suspicious these things tend to happen to a lot of new popular coins at cryptsy on a regular basis.
