Hello guys , what you think about a separate thread for only merit questions. I support merit system, but every day i came on meta threard  and again and again same question about merit and half of them are clear spam.  May by came time to create a new topic for merit?

No, we don't need a new board for this. You can close this thread now.

Really, this suggestion appeared here already. You see, merit exists for half of the year already and the discussion about it is still boiling, but I truly believe that people will catch one day that nothing is going to be changed about merit and learn how to earn it effectively.

We have a thread for trust discussion (reputation) so why not have one for merit also. There does seem to be a big merit cloud covering a lot of meta and its own section would help to cut down the meta section more and allow for it to be a place where we can discuss forum software and other ideas without seeing merit everywhere.

It is a new concept so of course there is going to be a lot of questions and confusion about it. Even though this should of surpassed by now its not that much of an issue that it needs to have a dedicated sub forum. If we did this we would have to make a dedicated sub board for almost all the issues that pop up in the Meta board like hacked accounts etc.

Merit will always be discussed but it should start being discussed less frequently later on.

OH hell no. The number of threads whining about merits have just started disappearing and no one wants to see that again. Reputation is for high end places. Merit is eh. It has no value, but trust well, it is linked with scams.
OP, lock the thread,seriously.

Do you mean a board or really a thread? Whether which one you are pertaining, one thing is for sure - making any of the two is not necessary anymore. Lots of threads already existed here and Merit System is not a broad topic that's why it is not qualified to have a board.
I support merit system, but every day i came on meta threard  and again and again same question about merit and half of them are clear spam.
That happened before when Merit System was recently implemented, there's a time when almost the whole first page of meta was all about merit discussions (so ridiculous, right?). But now, can't you see that our Meta already came back to normal? We get over this already and you should too.
