with difficulty already at 3.86, and 1MH/S only theoretically netting you 50 Onion in 24 hours (at current difficulty), then the pre-mine, and bounties paid out are SERIOUSLY HIGH in comparison to what miners can expect..... or have I missed something here??

Default wallet (no configs) only connects to 1 peer and only loads 249 blocks out of estimated 534. Is this a hardcoded node ? If so, maybe make this node be on track with the other main nodes ?
Or am I not understanding how this works ?

Yep, I'll be honest - for the massive discrepancy between bounties and miners, I for one am out.
I mined 50+ coins, but that was mainly within the first few minutes of joining (around block 920) when they were paying out every other second or so..... now it's every minute or so, and climbing.

Good luck to anyone who continues with this - if the bounties stay like this comparative to the miners rewards, there's no future in the value as far as I see, unless NONE of the bounties are dumped - and we all know that isn't going to happen.

(my first ever negative comment on the boards - guess I'm learning what to look for in a new coin!)

To put it into perspective though, a 20k bounty on offer, is currently the equivalent of around 420MH/S for a full day's mining!
I haven't compared other bounties for other coins, but to me, that seems overly excessive.
I'm not complaining about a bit of a pre-mine - just make it a fair balance between miners rewards, and overall distribution of coins....
