Good work !

Please could someone perhaps design a Bitcoin 'banner' 468 x 60. I have around 10,000 banner impressions that I wouldn't mind donating to promote bitcoin.org on some traffic / hit exchanges. Cool

Thanks.

I was a very early Bitcoin adopter - I mined and sold over 12,500+ BTC before they reached just a few cents! I bought a slice of a rather famous Pizza!? and donated 500 BTC to the first Bitcoin Faucet. Got a bit lost along the way... logged out 2010... logged back in 2013... I did 'find' around 25 BTC (in old wallets and sites), which is better than none! <> BBR - CBX - CURE - DASHEMCGAP - GRC - LTC - MINT - NMC - NuBits - PPC - SLM - START - XPM - <> This is not investment advice! <>

Here is a different version of my design, to your specifications. I hope you find it acceptable.

Again, I will accept and may utilize suggestions.

The two images in the previous post don't display inline for me when I have Adblock Plus enabled in Firefox. Here are the links to them for anyone else with Adblock Plus enabled.

Just the job Sabunir. Thanks !

Didn't show up with Adblock Plus on for me either, of course, NLS, thanks.

10,000+ banners will be server on EasyHits4U and other traffic exchanges over the next few months. Even a gain of 1% in users should start Bitcoin rolling with the masses. Grin

I needed somewhere to serve / host the banner / logos from so I created a dedicated photobucket account for the moment.

I hope that that is ok with you Sabunir as you indicated copyleft 'whatever'. I will add the others when I have a bit more time. (Please PM me a Bitcoin address for a donation)

Main photobucket link address : http://s889.photobucket.com/albums/ac99/BitcoinFX/

Example Banner Code:

<a href="http://www.bitcoin.org/"><img src="http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac99/BitcoinFX/Bitcoinorg_Banner_468x60.png" width="468" height="60" border="0" /></a>

Thanks.

That is fine, BitcoinFX. I invoked Copyleft just so that everyone could do such things. Simply, you may do whatever you want with them except claim they are your creation and try to sell them.

I am glad I could help you in your efforts to promote Bitcoin.

With satoshi's release of the new official Bitcoin coin graphic, I've updated my entries to use it. Choices are now between my recreation of the old coin and satoshi's official new coin.

Ok thanks again Sabunir. I will get your new logo's / banners uploaded to the photobucket repository this weekend for all to use.

6,500+ banners have been served to date. Shocked Less than a 1% click rate, but at least some more folks have actually heard of Bitcoin ! Grin

"Banner Statistics - EasyHits4U

URL - http://www.bitcoin.org/
Alt Text - Bitcoin.org P2P Anonymous Digital Currency
Per day - 1000
Status - accepted

Stats
Impressions received - 10000
Clicks - 11
CTR - 0.11%

Every click on your banners ads is worth a lot — those users who click on your ads may become your referrals or even clients. Users click simply because they are interested in the topic of your ads!"

That is actually quite a high click through rate ! Other folks might of jotted down the Bitcoin name, whilst surfing, and searched for it later on.

I've now ceased to serve the Bitcoin Banners on an individual basis. My marketing activities have been extended to my other websites and the more permanent 'Bitcube' Project.

Here is the new logo example banner code for your own sites:

<a href="http://www.bitcoin.org/"><img src="http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac99/BitcoinFX/Bitcoinorg_Banner_468x60_new.png" width="468" height="60" border="0" alt="Bitcoin.org - P2P Anonymous Digital Currency" /></a>

Please remember to send Sabunir a Bitcoin donation.

Bump. I'll pay 100 BTC to the first one to make a "we accept Bitcoin" logo that I choose to put on BitcoinExchange.com. The text can be different, or even no text if you think it's good. It must be better than the current logo of course Smiley

I will also donate 100btc for a logo on bitcointo.

The current one is just a small bitcoin on the lower left.

Are there more variations for promoting bitcoin?

I created this using the DIY Dotty Dots tool.

I see. However, Copyleft is a general concept, and GPL is not its only form. For instance, there's also Design Science License or Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike. But if you want to adopt my images, I can simply drop the Copyleft.
Copyleft means not suitable for MIT licensing.
