Concept

The value of agricultural land has been growing for thousands of years.

SQM is the new crypto-currency introducing an ultimate value security system. For every square metre of arable agricultural land purchased by GoldenAcre, one SQM is automatically generated by a smart contract. The agricultural land is leased to preferably organic farmers. The leasehold net revenues are used to buy back and lock SQM. If the SQM price falls, land is sold and SQM are irreversibly locked. Thus, the SQM price is always hedged above the land value. This mechanism is internationally unique and used for the first time in a currency concept. In this way, 1 SQM always faces one (1) square metre of fertile agricultural land. Thus, the constantly reduces the number of freely available SQMs in relation to the associated farmland. This inevitably and predictably results in constant deflation. GoldenAcre’s mission is to create the safest and most stable currency in the world.
