Internet Cafe Mining

Hey everyone, first post on here, so forgive me if I make a mistake. I have been mining crypto for a few years now. I am un the UAE, and there are many gaming cafes with 10 series cards. Many of these cafes don't have all their computers occupied 24/7, so I would like to run nicehash in the background. I have spoken to the owners, and they are very interested in partnering with me. I know nicehash has a button that turns on mining when PC is idle, and this is what I want to do. What I am concerned about is how to conceal it so the regular user would not have access to it. Some cafes have portals, some have desktop access. None have full access to the computer though. I am willing to pay for assistance in this matter.

This is interesting. I tried to talk a cafe owner into this once, in my case it didn't reach as far as with you. 

Anyway, onto the technical aspect of your case... You could try running nicehash's executable as a service:

Seriously though.  If the owner of internet/gaming cafe wanted to do this with their own hardware and their own bandwidth while those machines were idle, they wouldn't be coming to you (shady guy who knows nothing about mining), to accomplish this task.  Sorry buddy, no lambo for you.  LOL.

forget it, you have a permit or not from them, you're very lucky because will have the electricity & Internet free.

Most likely with most of these posts its usually the guy wants to install the Nicehash and make it hidden instead of getting permission from the owner.

What he doesn't realize is that they usually have a image of the SSD and every night the SSD is completely cleared and set back to stock.

They do this because people download viruses and other malware and it just saves them the hassle of having to do it manually.

So even if he did install Nicehash software on a few PCs, the mining would stop usually at the end of the day.

That or since most GPUs use tons of power, they would end up blowing the breakers at the end of the day and the owner would get suspicous.

Hmmm you should hire a developer from freelancer you can go with indians / chinese guys they are cheap for working with you.
Also I recommend you to install on every computer a teamviewer so you can have full access from your home

I don't want to hide it from the owner, I want to hide it from being tampered with from a user. I'm splitting the profits 50/50 with the owners, so I have no incentive to cheat/lie, as if this goes well they can refer me to other cafe owners. I'm trying to do this the best way possible.

Anyhow, thanks to the reply about running it as a service. I'll continue checking this thread to see if anyone has done it. I'm not a mining noob by any means, just not very advanced with programming/windows. I know Nicehash opens a cmd window and I dont want that to be interfered with when a user logs on.

This is probably true for those higher end internet gaming cafes. However, in some places i know, either there are simply too many customers waiting to use computers to waste time doing backups or the owners / shop keepers barely bother to do it daily (they do it as necessary).

That being said, i believe the real question here now would be profitability. Gaming PCs are not optimized for mining and each would probably be using components that are not power efficient, and could possible even losing money on electricity costs. Note that each GPU here is also paying for the cost of CPU, RAM, etc which is inefficient compared to 13-GPU rigs that share the burden of electricity cost.

Optimization does not matter. For places that have 1070tis, etc, and have a lot of downtime (which they do here), they will make good money long term. We are just opening nicehash and clicking go. Power is also free (in the UAE, government subsidized).
