New MSI 280x Overheating???? Help please....

Hi, I got my second MSI 280x Gaming Twin Frozr. My first MSI 280x with dvi cable plugged in is doing 705k/hash at 70C. For some reason my second MSI 280x which does NOT have any video cable plugged in, which I got yesterday, and has been on for only 26hrs, mines at 705k/hash at 81C. MSI made a statement before that anything over 80C on the 280x Gaming Twin Frozr is considered as overheating. Why does my new 280x overheat? Thanks
